  1. So, If we disregard that BATC is in early access and we disregard that Say Intentions has subscription pricing, which one would be preferred? If creating a perfect ATC program for flight sim was easy someone would have done it a long time ago and made a ton of money.
  2. Don't worry, somebody will come along and explain to us how it's all going to work and how great it will be for us.

    I wouldn't hold my breath.
  4. I'm thinking of snagging the A350 at this price. Worth it?
  5. I hope this plane doesn’t have Honda engines, it will vibrate itself to pieces.😁
  6. Shows what a great fabricator and unlimited amounts of money can accomplish.
  7. I flew it yesterday and had no problems. Everyone's system is different though. I'd send a report to FS Labs.
  8. I guess if you already own one it would be fine. The $3600 price tag for the Apple Vision Pro is a little too steep for me.
  9. I don't normally fly warbirds but my Dad was a B-25 mechanic in the Marine Corps during WWII, so I may have to grab this one.
  10. I worked at DFW for US Airways\ American from 2003 to 2016 when I retired. I was a bag smasher so the ramp area is very familiar to me. It all looks pretty accurate and the performance seems to be good. I haven't had a chance to tour the entire airport yet but I will. I couldn't tell if I was getting the warm fuzzies or PTSD so that says something about the accuracy.
  11. Last I heard Asobo has to fix the problem. It's supposed to be addressed in SU 5 but who knows.
  12. Fix the issue with artifacts when flying at night with AMD GPU's. It's not a deal breaker but it is distracting.
  13. I started working for Allegheny Airlines in May of 1979 in Cleveland,Ohio. I retired in 2016 in Dallas-Fort Worth right after the merger with American was completed.
  14. Yes, these were actually Piedmont aircraft and came across as part of the merger. I think the F-28’s originally belonged to Empire Airlines who Piedmont merged with before the US Airways merger.
  15. Great shots. They brought back a lot of memories. I never thought I'd work an airplane that would make me miss the BAC-111 but the F28 was it.
  16. Now I'm really glad I upgraded my computer this August. I just bought a Radion 9070 XT so I'm covered for a while. It's going to be too expensive to build a computer pretty soon.
  17. I just checked. The 32GB of Corsair DDR5 that I paid $140 in August is now on sale for $409. I don't know what the regular price is now.
  18. I’m glad I upgraded my computer a couple of months ago. I wouldn’t be able to afford it now.
  19. If you're on the FSDT beta channel change it to release channel. It's there but they're doing server maintenance so I wasn't able to download it yet.
  20. Having been through 4 mergers as an airline employee it's never easy. I think it's especially hard for the employees and longtime customers of Hawaiian because there's also a cultural component to the name. It will be interesting to see what Alaska does with the combined airline.
  21. Any improvement on the vram front?

  23. It was considered a distraction. I retired in 2016 so things have changed. Now I see people posting videos on YouTube pushing back aircraft so maybe the policy has changed.
  24. In my previous life as a bag smasher for an airline, I had to go out to the hard stand and start the APU and brake ride the airplanes to the gate. Sometimes there was enough ambient light from the terminal to see what you were doing. A lot of times there wasn't. We always carried some form of flashlight or lighting devices to see. You didn't want to be feeling around or guessing on what button you were pushing or switch you were flipping. Technically you weren't allowed to carry your cell phone on the ramp so that wasn't an option.
