That was the scene of the greatest call ever made in the history of Giants baseball. It must of been around 30 years ago when Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper were doing the TV broadcast in Milwaukee and they stayed on air instead of going to commercials to watch the race. At that time Carl’s Jr. was a sponsor and had a certain catchphrase back then they used in advertising. During a game if someone made a great defensive play to turn the tide against the opponent, they would use the phrase “And that’s your Carl’s Jr. xx xxxx xxxx!” So they’re calling the race and near the end one of the sausages trips and does a face plant. It was hilarious because those costumes are very tall and the characters have goofy smiles, and when he fell it looked like the face of the character hit the ground at 100 mph. They replayed the fall several times times as they were laughing hysterically. Then Duane rose to the occasion and made the call: “And THAT’S your Carl’s Jr. IN YOUR FACE!” 😆🤣😂
