But the question is, does it sound like the flight deck in a real aircraft, which many say is pretty quiet.

Quess we will have to hear 737 MAX pilots keem in here. Actually some sounds are less than PMDG like the Electric APU generators switches or engines one.

Packs and general switches had a new tuning up.

I would say this is represented in the iFly.  What I can say for sure is that comparing it to the PMDG (which is just the obvious point of comparison in the sim), the flight model in general is much n

  • The sound package makes the PMDG one sound like an amateur with zero experience made it. Boris did a phenomenal job on the iFly sounds and the immersion is crazy good. Turning on the runway and hearin

If that is so, did they manipulate the sounds in the iFly  to make simmers happy, that want the cockpit sounds to be  like they hear in the cabin, when they are a passenger?

Nope....the sounds are superb.  Even the ground roll sounds were done very well as you begin takeoff of which are completely absent in the PMDG aircraft...

It is basically the same plane though.

For me the sounds and the bigger screens are worth it alone.

I actually hate having to go back to the PMDG.  Have to for Cargo.

The sound match reality pretty dang close. And no, quiet is not the word that comes to mind with a 737 cockpit in flight.

Hi All - Can anybody tell me if it's possible to remove (hide) or adjust (slide backwards) the pilots seats (as you can do in the PMDG and Fenix)?

Cheers

The big screens were a big part of my purchase. It's really nice to see what you're doing 🙂

Old eyes, and all that.

I have not noted any issues. Nice and smooth on my machine.

It's been smooth as silk from the pre-release. It's truly a beautiful creation from iFly. Definitely worth purchasing.

Like butter and has been since they released it.

Are the FMC options as extensive in this as they are in the PMDG 737?

I compared performance with Fenix A321 yesterday. Exactly the same.

Ive still got issues with thrust on takeoff. Engines don’t spool up in sync. Engine2 went down to about 60% while 1 stayed on derated thrust. I disarmed the AT and went manual thrust in response. But I’ve had this issue in the previous version on most takeoffs.

Another thing: in the release notes, “throttle partial and total inhibit options added”. Do they mean a new option in the EFB? I haven’t seen it.

Look in the sim menu under panel states/Autopilot page 2
