They talked about it ‚we want to have this at some point‘, similar to ‚airline liveries’ and ‚it would be cool to have a career with a water taxi in new zealand’. It never showed up in 2020. Some liveries will come, careers as well. let’s see, I would not be surprised. Edited June 13, 20241 yr by urthgental
June 13, 20241 yr I‘m gonna make a bold prediction. The crappy VFR map will disappear and move into the tablet, where it belongs nowadays.

It was removed from the loading screens during the tech alpha. This is also when airports degraded significantly and they had to redo all of them manually with fake taxiways. Their licensing deal must have fallen through. Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!

June 14, 20241 yr My biggest concern is performance and stability, so my hope is that MSFS2024 will finally allow most users to enjoy the sim without worrying about performance issues.
June 14, 20241 yr Parachutists break record for most skydives in a day https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cw44pdd18e3o I'm not really into challenges or careers after the landing challenge atrocities in 2020 but this looks a real blast. June 14, 20241 yr Per this week's development update https://www.flightsimulator.com/june-13th-2024-development-update/, re: FS Expo:Last but certainly not least, next week many members of the Microsoft Flight Simulator team will be at FlightSimExpo in Las Vegas, Nevada! If you’re attending in-person, be sure to stop by our booth to speak with our team. We love meeting you and talking about flight simulation! While you’re at the booth, you can also try your hand at some in-sim challenges. We’ll be giving away many fantastic prizes to the top scorers throughout the weekend. You can find us in booth 502, the biggest booth on the convention floor, so it’ll be impossible to miss us. Announced earlier this week, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team will be presenting two panel discussions during FlightSimExpo. The first starts at 3pm Vegas time (2200 UTC) on Saturday, June 22. In this presentation, Jorg and Seb will give an update on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The second presentation will have members of our Marketplace team sharing business insights of the in-game Marketplace and providing an introduction to the MSFS2024 Marketplace. This session starts at 12:30pm Vegas time (1930 UTC) on Sunday, June 23. For those who aren’t attending FSExpo in-person, both sessions will be streamed live as they happen on both our official Twitch channel and official YouTube channel. We wish to offer our sincere thanks to the FlightSimExpo organizers for allowing us to stream these sessions to the many simmers around the world who wouldn’t otherwise be able to see these presentations. June 14, 20241 yr The fact that this is slated to land on Xbox from the jump is a good sign that they feel the sim is well optimized and stable already. I used to honestly hate the fact that an xbox version existed but as time has passed I have made a full 180 on it. The biggest plus of the Xbox version for me is how restricted it is. Weird, I know right? But the restrictions placed on it is forcing MS do do more things that will be offered by default and made available for us PC players to enjoy! Between that and the realism the career mode is going to demand, I think we are in for a real treat in November! 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
