March 5, 20206 yr So You Never Have To Rejoin Society Again, especially as I'm sure this would works pretty good for most sims, as well.......... https://odditymall.com/ultimate-gaming-bed?fbclid=IwAR1aGziyyPYD4t4zW5enunihMdxBItATzzqgNZZN6HG0mAgMOZpYNu6RxCU Quote No, this isn't the Ultimate Bed, it's the ultimate gaming bed! There's a big difference between being very functional and luxurious, to just fully removing you from society. Though I guess that could be said about both beds. Created and sold by a Japanese furniture manufacturer called Bauhutte, the company has come up with a bed that a gamer really never really has to leave (barring the toilet), and includes mounted screens, shelving that surrounds you for food, drinks, and everything else you'll need while gaming, and even a screen mount to hover over you while you sleep so you'll never be without a screen in your face. If you check out their catalog, they create gaming furniture that starts out pretty normal towards the top, and slowly delves into gaming furniture that removes you further and further from society. Ultimately ending up with their gaming bed that you apparently can't use without a ninjas mask on. The end of the bed features what appears to be essentially a desk that's mounted to the end of the bed frame, so you can go right to your gaming the second you wake up, whether that's on a console, or on your computer while using a keyboard and mouse. 2 Mounted screens on the bed desk will allow you to optimally game and pwn noobs all day long in your underwear. Is the ultimate gaming bed the greatest piece of gaming furniture ever created, or is it just the ultimate way to remove yourself fully from society? I'll let you decide. March 5, 20206 yr Moderator Omg, this is getting pretty extreme. I didn’t see a built in fridge for them to store their supply of Red Bull or Monster Energy drinks or a built in microwave for them to heat up their Hot Pockets or whatever “gamers” eat. 😂 As if people weren’t already physically lazy enough, now we’ve got a gaming bed. Some one should invent a gaming catheter so you don’t even need to get up to pee. I guess I’m old fashioned but the only “gaming” I want to do in bed doesn’t involve ax X-Box, PS or computer. 😂😂😂😂 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
March 5, 20206 yr My bed with 120" projector connected to a laptop really didn't fall far behind..... But as a simmer... I can't do much with a gamepad anyway, that's my driving force for getup early on weekend.... Rather, I would like a more flexable simming platform, I really want a quick changable setup with Yoke/wheel(Rudder/gaspedal)/ L/Rsidestick /midstick... maybe better as wheel with racing style and truck style..... But I really can't find a product for that....right now I just with left hand sidestick and detachable wheel(BTW the H-shift at right hand and use as gear lever, small 4-way fighting joystick as sequential gear or flaps, Throttle quadrent at righthand also serve as handbrake and automatic gear shifter....), and I need few steps to change between rudder and gas pedal then....
