  1. Hello everyone! How do you display RC4 ATC commands and hotkeys while using P3Dv5? Reason: PF3 uses the FSUIPC ADV display, but it only works until P3Dv4. I never could make it work in V5, and the popup window that PF3 offers as a workaround interferes with Lossless Scaling. If I understand correctly, RC4 also uses this ADV Display for P3Dv4 and older sims.
  2. AFCADs were easier to make for previous sims, 2020 included. That's why the Library and fs.to are full of them. I understand that AFCADs for 2024 need to be made from scratch. I hope to be wrong.
  3. Yep, this is Ed's panel. €29 at Simmarket, and I don't know if the plane is included. Some years ago, I'd have bought it, but now that HJG has theirs (and I'm now more into P3Dv5 and MSFS2024), I'm not sure. I want to thank developers such as iFly, FSL and Majestic, who kept releasing 2D panels until the P3Dv5 era. Too bad PMDG didn't (starting with their Jetstream for FSX), citing development costs. Other developers saw them getting away with this, and started following suit. I remember those times...
  4. I tried it, but at SKBO. I saw several A320, 787 and 747 in the Airbus and Boeing factory colors. I guess it was default MSFS traffic aircraft. How did you manage not to get so?
  5. That's what Noel was actually doing: leaving MSFS handle directly traffic injection by itself, instead of using FSLTL. He leaves BATC for only issuing ATC instructions to him and no one else. I gotta give it a try. Conclusion: BATC is not a must for this. You can easily use any other ATC with this idea.
  6. I don't remember, but don't these things check by themselves as soon as they are taken off the standby mode? I haven't ever read the FCOM...
  7. I tried that during a network failure I had a couple of years ago. My ISP gave me 50 extra GB every 3 days. Sadly, not only MSFS ate them quickly, but also my phone was overheating after a quick flight. After seeing that there is no way to improve offline textures, I had to stay with earlier sims (P3D/FSX/FS9) during that outage.
  8. What version of Win11 are you running, @Ray Proudfoot? 23H2, 24H2, or 25H2? This is because yesterday I gave 24H2 a try and faced the same issue, in both V4 and V5. As soon as I rolled back to 23H2, everything was fixed. I'm sure this means a Windows update doing its thing.
  9. 32 GB. And with the current RAM prices, it will stay there for a long time😢
  10. I could finally check: there is one in your 777 folder\Documentation\SDK\PMDG_777X_SDK.h. All the variables are there. I guess you're looking for these ones: // Pedestal - Control Stand - Fuel Control #define EVT_CONTROL_STAND_ENG1_START_LEVER (THIRD_PARTY_EVENT_ID_MIN + 520) #define EVT_CONTROL_STAND_ENG2_START_LEVER (THIRD_PARTY_EVENT_ID_MIN + 521) THIRD_PARTY_EVENT_ID_MIN is simply 69632. So, in your case, the numbers would be 70152 for Engine 1; and 70153 for Engine 2. Those are the events you need to trigger. Hi Noel, the default setting I have doesn't give me parking brakes but chocks on. Does it happen to you too?
  11. Oi José, it looks like you already have a podium, based on significance for you: Tristar ($50, if you don't care it's Marketplace-only) 727-200 ($43 and $20 extra if you care about the Super27 improvements) 737-700 ($30 since you have the 2020 version) In that order, if I understood you correctly.
  12. Have you checked in the 777 SDK what variables and events are avaliable? I know there's one for the FSX and P3D versions. I guess there's one for the MSFS ones.
  13. And then who's gonna buy their products? 🤔
  14. If you already have a Gmail e-mail address, that's your Google account.
  15. @martin-w likes this 😆 Me too, so cute😍
  16. ...but is that drone legal? https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWuq_CgCdXY/?igsh=cjBvcm5iOGFheWEw (if I find a YouTube version, I'll replace the Instagram link with that one)
  17. I don't know how do you manage with just a few planes. For GA this is what I thought I had: Carenado Cessna 182 RG (a slow, high-wing piston plane) Carenado Mooney (a faster one for a quick flight) JF Piper Turbo Arrow (a fast and detailed one, since I didn't want to pay for the Comanche, and that I no longer use). A2A Comanche (in the end, I couldn't resist) SWS PC-12 (something bigger and faster than the typical piston single) iniBuilds P-40 (a warbird, since I missed the A2A one) But I checked my inventory (I have an Excel with all my FS-related software purchases since I started simming), and I see I have around 27 aircraft. 3 of them are GA/warbirds I didn't count above. From the 18 remaining ones, there are several airliners I didn't remember I had. And I'm not yet counting freeware! I'm sure I qualify as a drunken sailor (as the late NickN said).
  18. Interesting. I'd have thought it would be streamed on NASA's Youtube channel...
  19. Countdown going on, crew access bridge removed 😱 😂
  20. Countdown stopped at T-10:00. This is normal, right?
  21. What am I getting with DLSS4.5 that I can't get with Lossless Scaling? The only difference I currently see is that DLSS uses integer FG factors, unlike LS.
  22. Where is this link you talk about?
  23. Does the actual aircraft do so? I've simply used IAS for climb and VS for descent in all my turboprops (and the Avro RJ).
