Specifically, there are more than a few of us with a v5 bug where with certain aircraft, including default aircraft, we can't change view TO the cockpit. We can change views from the cockpit, but upon attempting to reenter the cockpit in the same view window, we get a DXGI hung error and CTD. Faulting module vcruntime140.dll and/or g2d.dll. After reading a bit about PID (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) controllers I decided to take a crack at a simple autothrottle ( A/T ) controller in the form of a Lua script called AutoThrottle.lua. You need a registered copy of FSUIPC to run the script. To try out the controller put the script in your modules folder and use FSUIPC in the usual way to assign a key or button to Lua AutoThrottle to activate it. When activated a window will open asking for a target IAS between 50 and 500 Kts. Of course you need to use a target IAS that is reasonable for the a/c. Since the Learjet uses the same engines as the Falcon is it possible to use the Learjet soundset for the Falcon 50? Some of the switches probably sound different, but the Falcon uses the same TFE731 engine as the Learjet 35, correct?

Does anyone know a way to make the taxi and landing lights in FlySimWare aircraft look more "realistic" - they seem way to bright. (Notice this in the MU-2, Lear and Falcon) thanks - Julian

I would like to put my Flight 1 GTN 750 into my v 5 installation of Falcon 50 and Learjet Is there a way or shall I just be patient until a v5 Configurator Manager is produced Both are flying well in v5 xxd09

We have learned the hard way that installing an aircraft with anti-virus or anti-malware software active can sometimes lead to strange problems. So if things are not working as expected, try uninstalling the a/c and then temporarily disabling any 'protection software' before updating or reinstalling the aircraft. Al

I followed the instructions and transferred old prop to orbx. Then uninstalled vtx central. Then installed Orbx central. Installed the new chaseplane from orbx central. Now when i run P3D i get the warning it not the current version. And when i use the sim and zoom in and out in chaseplane its very choppy. How do i not have the latest? i tried to uninstall chase plane again from orbx central and re install and get the same issues.

I recently found that when i minimize FSX to taskbar it will not allow me to maximize it. I have seen this issue a long time ago and the only solution i remember was to only click the FSX icon that is in the taskbar to minimize and that will allow you to maximize afterwards. But if in window mode and you click the minimize symbol this will cause the sim to get stuck in the taskbar. And i am forced to restart the sim. i am pretty sure i solved this a few years ago as i have had no issues until a few days ago. I also removed the last 2 updates to make sure and that did not help. I am using W10 pro. Any ideas?

To update the Garmin GTN North American and World database files to Sept2019 go to https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/556498-gtn-trainer-download-links-08jan20-update/ where near the top you will find 9 files under the GTN Database 1909 heading. Download the setup msi file and 8 cab files to the same temporary folder and then double click on the setup file. It will run and update the Garmin Trainer database for both the RXP or Flight1 GTN GPS units. Note the setup process does take a few minutes to run. So i have been testing recently and found that when i setup a RNAV with LPV or LNAV/RNAV approaches they will capture the glideslope when using FSX. But when i test this in P3D with the latest updates from Flight 1 and RXP both of your systems fail to hold the glideslope. Please share what you know and if this has been reported. I am at a loss since the Ap code i have is the same for both sims. So it has to be a recent update from P3D or the GTN750 coding.

Dear FSW Team, i downloaded the Learjet 4.2g version today and wanted to install (as i did with all the past versions). First try: After approx 30 sec the installer complaints "no internet connection was detected, you will be directed to the offline activation". Hmm, strange as i am online all the time with no problems. Then i abort the offline activation and try a second time. Second try: It does directly to the "Serial Key" page. I enter my serial key, as i did always. After "this might take a moment!!!", approx 1 min it complains "could not open the request". Third try: Offline activation is denied because i have used too much activations this week …

I recently returned to flight sim recently, and saw where my FSW aircraft crashed my recently updated P3Dv4.5. A quick check of my current and available FSW versions indicated i was still in the P3Dv4.2 era I would like to thank FSW for updating my admin account with two purchases of FSW products from a now closed vendor. Very quick response. I can now update my Lear, 441 and the Falcon 50. to suit P3D v4.5. Hello, You are aware that you can not set p3d with SSAA when we use the L35 and Falcon. By night, with MSAA i have 30 FPS and with SSAA i have 8 FPS. It's Really a shame when I think I can use the PMDG planes with the SSAA. does flysimware know this problem? Bye Bye
