Flysimware General Forum

Hi All: Could someone please help me figure out what I am doing wrong on this. I thought I followed the directions ok but what I get is the radar available as a pop up window but not integrated into the panel. Flysimware has a pic on their web page showing my radar integrated into the panel. Could someone please suggest how I can accomplish the integration. For the Lear 35 please. Thank you Rick

I was really glad to find Flysimware recently. I hadn't known about the products from this company until last month. I now have the lear, 441 and MU-2. I might pick up the piston twin too. But what's next for Flysimware? Everyone knows there is a huge vacuum in the flight sim world for realistic high performance business jets. Is there any chance of a modern high performance bizjet by FSW?

I just brought the Learjet 35 from SimShack.net (its listed as a reseller on the product page) and the purchase went without a hitch but the latest version they have is V2.9 which does not work in P3D v4, whereas flightsimware has released a V4 version of their product on their page (V3 of the product is the latest.) This wouldn't be too much of an issue but I only have a Prepar3d V4 license (and my fsx is so broken, it crashes every 5 mins) so I'm screwed until simshack finally updates their download. Just installed the p3d v4 versions of the C441 & C402. Also have updated the GTN Complete to ver 2.03 and to my surprise using the add-ons xml install method they are now being shown in the config tool. bob

So i'll ask the $64 question, will some of these aircraft be updated for v4?

Hi Folks, Just wondering if any of my fellow Lear pilots have tried the new DD Teterboro airport which is part of DD New York City ? I had the old one and performance was so bad I had to disable it - according to DD they see a 300% increase in performance with the new one... Regards, Scott

Recently purchased the Learjet 35A. It crashed my system and the textures are cartoonish. I contacted them and heres their snide reply. "Dear Customer, I assure you our product has no effect on the Sims. Please reinstall you sim and then try our product before claiming our product has caused an issue. Our product only adds files to the sim and will not effect how the sim works. Only if you select our aircraft and then you have issues that would be another type of issue. Do you need advice because software is non refundable due to you own a reg key. And like i said our product is very highly recommended by many customers. Let me know…

I used to be able to use the saitek multi panel with no special configuration to control the Altitude Selector, now with version 2.9 it does not work, I still can dial in Headings etc etc just not the ALT, anyone else have this problem

Is there a trick to getting both versions of the same repaint to work the GTN version and GNS version works fine I just can't get the GTN version to work I am at a loss so I will probably just stick to the stock repaints

When tuning to a navaid ,VOR or ILS, the display on the GNS 530 does not show the ID of the tuned navaid. It shows the next waypoint or the last letters of the airport you are going to. Is this correct?

Hello all Lear Jet pilots. Well, our little pocket rocket just got the full treatment from the guys at Multi Crew Experience! The Flysimware Learjet 35a is now a fully supported aircraft. What does that mean? Well apart from joining the other supported aircraft, PMDG NGX, 777, FSL bus, etc... You can now create all your own flows, as you like em! Also use any TTS voice or the MCE pilots that come with the program. Remember, MCE is a "eat as much as you like" product! You don't pay for any extra additions to their fleet! I have the FSW Conquest and MU-2B-60. I am hoping as a future project you might consider the Rockwell Turbo Commander 690B or later for release to the Flightsim Community. I see it as a practical addition to your Hangar and hope you might give it a go. Thank you

I am in the habit of flights 2-3 hrs in length with the Lear 35 and a good deal of that time I am away from the sim working on other things. These flights are typically at FL410 and above. Twice in the last 6 months or so I have returned to the sim just in time to avoid the aircraft crashing to earth (water). After much thought I believe I have suffered high altitude stalls. As one travels along the route of flight the Wx (ASN) changes, the temperature in particular, as I fly in the Caribbean most of the winter and on up to the lower half of the US, and the engine thrust changes. I believe what has happened is the thrust changes at that control setting and a stall results…

Does the GPS set the HSI course automatically in the real aircraft? I thought that the pilot has to manually align it with the DTK on this retro gauge.

Hello everyone. I have been trying to add the freeware ASN weather radar to the VC but I have been unable to make it work. I have read through the instructions in Radar options pdf but all I seem to be getting is a small transparent 2D gauge while the radar in the VC doesn't change at all. I downloaded the Garmin P>C> Trainer update ver 6.21.1 and the Fight1 GTN750 ver 1.2. and its working ok in the LearJetL35a. Have noticed the ( sure its new) tracking arrow/arm and it works well for guidance intercepting the flightplan course. bob

Hello all. I've only owned my learjet for about a day or so, and I also have owned the Mu-2 for a month now, but I have a recurring problem with the ENTER button on the GPS: it stops working halfway through a flight. I press and press, but I get nothing. This is a pain because I want to select an RNAV approach, but this is impossible when the button stops working. What gives? Is anyone else experiencing this? I've also had this issue crop up on my Mu-2, but it hasn't happened in a while. Suggestions/Fixes? Thanks, Scott

Is this just me, my system or does anyone else see this? The DME read out (our DME under the VSI) when set for NAV 1 displays the DME Range for Nav 2. Likewise DME when set for Nav 2 displays DME Range for Nav 1. This was seen with the GTN 750 up and used to select VOR tune. Regards David

I managed to fit it in VC of both, and radio tuning works from VC, but you need 2d open to manipulate other controls. With the aircraft completely shut down, the huge ground splash effects that is normally generated by the landing and taxi lights, still shows!!!! Does anyone know what is causing this? Secondly, what is the name of the effects file for this effect? Stephen
