S340 FSX | P3D

Hey guys, actually enjoying this aircraft immensely. Has anyone worked out how to open the doors without the standard bindings. Mine are all off so no exits can be opened. Have they implemented a way of opening the doors or is it the standard bindings that come as default. Cheers Smiley

I’m a non-coding novice who is interested to learn about coding to improve some of the gauges which typically don’t work properly, especially with carenado products. I know there is some stuff that is hard coded but for those great minds who can fix autopilot, pressurization, and other systems to actually work...well, which files do they use and what coding language are using. I’m wanting to be able to learn but unsure about the beginnings of how to do so. I welcome your input!!!

Greetings all, I just purchased and installed the SF340. Looks and sounds great! However (and I haven't had time to go through the manuals yet), in the cockpit while manipulating the control column, when applying ailerons, the control wheel rotates left and right. When I apply elevator, there is no fore and aft motion of the column whatsoever. In external view, all the controls appear to be moving normally. Is this a bug or a control lock of some sort I'm missing? Regards, Scott

Hello, I recently installed the Carenado S340 within FSX Accelerator and I am finding that my CH Products Throttle Quadrant is not responding in any way with this aircraft. (The Throttles do not initiate any engine response, and none of the assigned switches respond as they do with other aircraft. Does anyone know how to get this problem resolved? Hi all Can someone inform me as to how you turn on the VOR / DME sound to say when the navigation position is within range? I can work it fine however there is no Morse code sounds which other add-on give. Thanks in advance if you can help. The other issue I have with this add on is the engines starting issue that others on the forum have noted ie not starting or when they do start running so hard the full brakes cant hold the the aircraft still. I have to say although I am enjoying the addon it does feel as though it has been a rushed release. Regards Bob

Howdy All --- have been trying to find info on the WX radar and am striking out so far. I have installed the GTN750 and all working fine there. But under what conditions does the WX radar function?? Does the GTN750 installation preclude the radar from working? Comments please. It would sure be nice to get the radar working while the GTN750 is working!! Thanks!!!!

I assume it is not necessary to get the Flight 1 addon as I have no other use for it. The XP version had a basic GPS that would drive a flight plan. Can someone confirm please. I do wonder whether Leading Edge ( they produced XP version- which is very good) had some part in Carenado's version.

Can anybody tell me if there is a mod to change the altimeter to read hectopascals as apposed to inches of mercury. I find it bizarre that carenado have done this considering the quantities read in kilos!?!? Cheers Lonz

- AP source selector (GPS/Nav1/Nav2) does not work in VC, only pop up works. - GTN750 in VC: After some time the pup up screen freezes. VC screen not. - After engine shut down, sometimes propellors do not stop spinning. Alexander

Hi guy's, I anticipated this Saab340 very much, but now that i have it....i can not fly. :-) Is there somewhat of a tutorial (for example to startup the engines) out there? I got the engines running once, but the torque kept on max after start and the aircraft rolled out right through the parking brakes.....not to stop.
