S340 FSX | P3D

Hello I just discovered a small bug: when you turn the wipers on the electrics turn off and the wipers don't move, did that at ground, with the gpu only. Noticed no posts about it so I wrote it here .* Have a nice day

I purchased the GTN 750 about a year ago and have it installed on at least a half a dozen airplanes and it works great. I just purchased the Carenado S340 went into the Carenado S340 file double clicked on the F1GTN750S340.exe. Went through the set up, says it was installed but when I bring the airplane up in FSX Steam to fly, it is not there. Have tried to install it half a dozen times with the same result. Any ideas anyone??? Thanks, Rodger

How i can connect the external power. It appears when i check "tow car and static elements" but i have no current/voltage on the electric gauge. Also, you can't start the engine if the static elements aren't removed. Thanks.

I have updated the readouts on the EADI and EHSI so they work better with the GTN 750. The NAV source selector knob now correctly indicates VOR1 / VOR2 / GPS, the autopilot NAV mode is indicated as NAV1 / NAV2 / RNAV, and the autopilot APPR mode as LOC1 / LOC2 / LPV. Also the groundspeed readout has been fixed. If you would like a copy, send me a PM with your email address.

Hello flightsimmers, I understand Carenado Sabb is "A" model, right? But PFPX included template is Saab340 "B" Is that right? 😶 In case its not, can we get a realistic PFPX template for this bird? It is going excellent so far.... but i see important differencies betwen PFPX Plannig and this bird´s performance... Thanks in advance!

Hello, to make videos in external views is there a solution to put off the sound of the GPWS. I did not find anything on the VC to put it on off. With FSX or FSUIPC shortcut keys, this does not work. Thank you

Im running Windows 10, P3d V4. Never had any trouble with A2a, PMDG etc.. but with this Carenado SAAB (which I can't wait to fly...) I get stuck during the install. After putting in my email and serial number it then asks which simulator I want it in. That's when I start to see a problem. The choice p3d is there and I can click it but I do see a strange rectangular shaped white box covering something. Then the next screen after I choose p3d it wants another selection and appears to have a browse option. Once again I see the white box but now I cant choose anything, it won't open a browse window or anything. Then the installation just hangs and I have to use task m…

Hi, I have a problem in FSX where is thinks that the Pitch Trim is just the elevators and not the elevator trim. I have messaged Carenado about this and they have been unable to replicate the problem. "We've been unsuccessful in trying to replicate this issue after many attempts as it is not occurring on our computers. Having said this, we feel that it won't be possible for us to solve your problem, which is why we would like to offer you a refund on your purchase or any other aircraft from our fleet for free instead, provided you find this issue to be detrimental to your enjoyment of our product." -- Carenado Please help!

Hi, A short while ago I bought the Fokker 50 and it is a nice aircraft. However the cockpit graphics imho do not match the normal quality we get from Carenado. It is a bit of a gray mass so to speak. Looking at the S340 screenshots/videos, the S340 cockpit looks much more realistic and vibrant. Pilots having both ( Bert? ), is my observation correct? Which one do you like the most, also system wise? I'm on the fence to buy the S340 as well. Egbert

10-15 minutes into any flight the MFD turns itself off. No problem turning it back on with the power switch. The main HSI flickers when this happens but continues funtioning fine. Checked batteries gens and inverters all seem fine. Any ideas ? Cheers

Could someone please explain to me what is going on at Carenado at the moment? I had 1.1 and saw 1.2 yesterday. So I uninstalled 1.1 and installed 1.2. Now today they have on their website 1.1 back up as the current version. So is this version of the day or did they roll it back for some reason? Appreciate any clues as to which version should be used. Any more up and downs and my hard drive will start asking " Really again?". Anyway thanks for any info and help! :)

Saab has been updated to version 1.2 - can't find any update notes so no idea what has been fixed / changed.

I have just uninstalled 1.1 and installed 1.2 and now find that its not possible to perform a manual engine start. Whilst I was seeing the max torque issue now and again with the previous versions when manually starting and this now appears to have been fixed, with 1.2 when the condition levers are moved to the start position, the engines refuse to start. The start sound can be heard then it just fades and loops as if the fuel has not been introduced . Have to use CTRL E or use the start options from the pop-up now. Is anyone else having this issue? Im running FSX-SE with DX10Fixer btw.

Has anyone tried this sound pckage with the Carenado S340? Any thoughts?

I bought this plane when it first came out. Last night I realized that there was a new version. So I downloaded it. All is well but the vs mode on the autopilot. Yesterday I could hit vs mode dial in the amount of climb or descent with no issue. It would climb or descend to the preset level and level out. Today with the new version it just keeps right on climbing or descending and doesn't stop. Has anyone else noticed this? I don't use GTN 750 so it's all default. If I'm doing any thing wrong help would be appreciated. However yesterday and another version what I was doing worked.

With it recently being released... who has bought it? Worth it? Thoughts??

Apologies Mr Moderator if this should go in the main Repaint forum thread, they seemed more relevant here. Sadly we only have a few 340's operating in New Zealand now courtesy of Air Chatham's. But that never stopped us enjoying what was. ZK-KRA, still operating alongside her sister CIZ. KRA was formerly operated by the short lived Kiwi Regional Airlines. The aforementioned KIWI KRA. I managed to see the inaugural landing of this aircraft into NZTG some years back. And to round them off the classic (ZK-NLQ) and Pacific Wave (ZK-NLG) Air New Zealand liveries. All being uploaded today to the AVSIM library.

The TTG (Time to Go to next waypoint) can be added for the GTN equipped SF340. You need to have my V4.1. mods installed. Hi, Does anyone have performance charts in KG available? Strangely the fuel meter in the cockpit is in KG while the charts provided are in LBS

Can anyone figure out the GSP readout? I thought it was meant to be Ground Speed (in knots), but it shows inconsistent values..

Upon installing the S340, I went to the aircraft folder and clicked on the file for installing the gtn750 (which I own). Everything works in the cockpit and on the gtn at first. Both the pop up and vc gtn work, but then somehow the pop up freezes and the vc gtn continues to Work flawlessly through the flight. anyone else experience this? Ideas?
