PSXseeconTraffic for FSX | P3D | MSFS

I've been using PSXT for over a year and today landing and departing aircraft started emitting smoke. See below: https://imgur.com/J3LYdYz https://imgur.com/tybPc6Y Really hits frame rates. Anything that can stop this?

Apparently the new Terminal A at Abu Dhabi airport has been open over a year, yet PSXT is parking all the traffic at the old former terminals. Any possible reason? The Inibuilds version, not that that should have any bearing.

Nico; I can't get PSXT to read my airport scenery folders using the afolder0-9 lines in parameters.xml as described in the manual. The AirportsScanLog.txt file makes no mention of even trying to process the folder and it's subfolders. Regards

I believe there may be a bug in how traffic is being read. Hi everyone, I have following situation and maybe I have a wrong understanding of the topic, even after consulting the manual. When loading up PSXT I get the message in the lower column that „United Boeing 787-10 can not be loaded“. So far, so acceptable. Could be that I don‘t have the livery installed. But my Aircraft matching depth is set to 4. Wouldn‘t that mean, that the program should at least try to replace it with a similar model of the airline? Let‘s say a UA 787-9? Hello, is there way to avoid that a 777 is parked at a small airport (in this case in LSZS). Its a GA airport only and doesnt have any airliners operating ithere. Thx Mark

I flew into DD KEWR after updating to ver 10.4 and even after reading the release notes I could find no way to get live below 34 - live parked 19 + live 15. I clicked off autorange and set it to 2 (min setting) and that's how I got live down to 34. I can not figure out any way to get it lower and with my weak cpu at complex airports I need an absolute max live (live parked + live) of 20 or I get terrible stutters and sometimes even the sound starts to cut out. I was on 2020 and had it set up correctly and had lots of traffic in conjunction with Real Traffic and AIG. I moved to 2024 and updated PSXT to where I can switch back and forth. However, when going back to 2020, I don't have any aircraft parked or flying. My PSXT app appears to be working fine. My install path is my 2020 community folder and everything shows green. It is recognizing where i am and what plane I am in but I am not getting traffic. I am on 10.4.2. Could a setting gotten changed that I am not aware of? Could something else be causing this? Thanks!

Hi Nico, In the version 10.0.0 release notes, you wrote it: "The archive with its subfolders and files are no longer local but on-line." So in the new version, archive files are not downloaded to my computer. That is, I cannot manually edit the gates with incorrect coordinates, or missing gates and ramps at airports? There are many errors that I have fixed and ground traffic at airports has become much more enjoyable. Will I not be able to do this in the future? vonSzuli

Hello, I am new to PSXT (currently on a 24 day trial with RT) and so far I am loving it. I intend to purchase a full year subscription. Listening to live ATC and seeing everything paly out in the sim is absolutely incredible. I do have a question, I noticed that I do not have any life traffic or parked live/static aircraft at any Cuban airports. I checked that MUHA and MUVR are indeed showing arrivals and departures on FR24 and FlightAware; so I am asking why I am not getting any traffic, or static aircraft at those airports? I realise this may be a RealTraffic thing (I will check with live traffic plugin in XP12 as well). Thanks!

Hi Nico, When I reposition the PSX, the PSXTraffic window closes, perhaps because of a sys error 234? (That's in the log.txt file, anyway.) Parameters: MSFS running PSX running RT running MSFS and PSX linked with PSX.NET.MSFS PSXTraffic always starts properly. But then moving PSX/MSFS to away from its present position through either Instructor > Situation > Load (within PSX) or Instructor > Situation > Position (also within PSX) causes PSXTraffic to close, every time. Nico, As always thanks for the amazing things you do with this program! Is there a setting to delay installing new version so that it does not stop working during a current flying session? Mine basically stops working until I install the new version which of course kills the realism. Thanks, Dave

I just purchased Istanbul by SceneryTR from Simmarket but PSXT comes up with the message "user on ground at LTFM, no airport file found". What do I need to do to get the scenery playing nicely with PSXT? Andy

Is PSXT able to read the Sim Time in 2024? With a 2024 time set earlier in the day than my local time, and 'Sim Time' and ''Save' checked, the 'hours' 'days' ''minutes' remain blank, unlike in 2020. I can enter values in the latter, but there's nothing to confirm that they have had any effect.

I delete the expired realtraffic.lic file. Start PSXT the file comes back. Deleted the config file and .lic same happens. Cant find in manual how to run psxt alone. What is the right way?
