PSXseeconTraffic for FSX | P3D | MSFS

This is a freeware support forum for PSXseeconTraffic.  PSXseeconTraffic is an add-on for the Aerowinx PSX and any user aircraft in Prepar3D, FSX and MSFS.  Flying with live traffic gives you an awesome immersion.  You can position your aircraft in the queue for landing or departure at your favourite airport and really see all these familiar airlines and aircraft around you. The traffic information at the TCAS in your aircraft is making the flight experience much more real; see all these heavies around you when crossing the Atlantic!

  1. Recently I have a habit to fly with SayIntention ATC that typically provides you with a gate# via Telex CDPLC. Is it possible to enter this gate into My-parking.txt file, while I'm in flight with PSXT active? Thanks!

  2. I'm getting an error: ""There are too many liveries that could not be created by MSFS!" The programme then stops working. Can anyone help?

  3. Started by G-YMML1,

Two airports, KMIA and KPHX, showed up in the folder. In fact, these two were released a while ago by infamous BMW/Amsim developer, but they are still present in the list of PSXT supported sceneries. Does it mean that PSXT dropped support for KMIA and KPHX of this developer?

  4. https://imgur.com/a/CPkl40O I get this error. Note that while I selected 2024, it still stays in 2020

I just found yesterday (after 3 skipped versions) that now I have to update for each new PSXT version manually, is that correct or I'm doing something wrong? Thanks!

    Good morning. I am curious about the difference of number of spot between the UI and the airport XML. In this instance I am at FSDT's KORD in 2024. PSXT is 11.3.0. In the image above, the UI indicates a max park of 256. The KORD.xml file say: <parameter name="num_parkpos" value="175" /> The entire KORD.xml: Spoiler <?xml version="1.0"?> <meta> <info name="author" value="PSXT" /> <info name="version" value="11.3.0" /> <info name="date" value="Aug 11, 2025" /> <info name="copyright" value="(c) 2025 Nico W. 7. Started by UPL7,

Currently using PSXT with "Max Live (park incl)" set to 0 because I only want parked traffic at airports and don't want to see the weird behaviors of live traffic on the ground. However, I would like to have an option to inject live traffic at around 500 feet after they have taken off, and have them ejected when they go below 500 feet while on approach. Are you able to implement a feature to set an injection or ejection height in PSXT?

  8. Hello, since the last update 11.0.4 there no live traffic is loaded. All parameters in the PSXT_P3D are green but Traffic live:0 I would be grateful for help. Kind regards Peter

  9. Hi Nico, I've been troubleshooting a recurring altitude discrepancy in enroute traffic using PSXTraffic with RealTraffic and MSFS 2020 (version 10.10.10). Here's the issue: While flying at FL370 with standard pressure set (1013 hPa / 29.92 inHg), I observe aircraft flying at e.g. FL370 in RealTraffic, But they are displayed visually ~700 ft too low in the simulator, compared to my own altitude. This offset is consistent across multiple aircraft and locations. The Altitude differences vary though. Somedays everyone is 900ft too low, another day they are 1300ft too low. What I’ve verified: …

Hello and first of all thank you for all the implication in developing this area, I saw that PSXT_P3D is not working for P3D V4, only V5 and V6. As I already have a 2 flight simulators A320Neo and B737-800NG based on Prepar3D V4, it would be really usefull to integrate again your Application with V4. Is there any way to make it work again with V4? It is really hard to upgrade the Prepar3D to v5 or v6 because there are a lot changes that I have to do for this. I would love to make your app work again with V4. Thank you a lot! Catalin

I was only getting 50 liveries detected and it turns out PSXseecon was scanning my MSFS 2020 community folder instead of my MSFS2024 community folder. Is there a way to fix this? My install path for MSFS2024 is correct as far as I know

  12. Started by Bob Scott,

Nico; When I am at KRIC (Richmond, Virginia by FeelThere) I get no traffic, and no park_airport.xml file for the airport is being generated. PSXT does show the airport and parking spot in the GUI, but no static traffic at all, and it's a reasonably busy place. Works normally pretty much everywhere else. It's not a particularly new scenery, nor is it listed in the TBLO folder, either.

  15. I am trying to model match the C-21A (military version of LJ35A) to be correctly placed at Scott Field AFB (KBLV). I finally was able to install AIG models to get LJ35 model(s). However, since there is no airline code for Air Mobility Command (ICAO code RCH, short for REACH) in the AIG files (not for LearJets, there are some for AMC B737s), PSXT seems to randomly assign LearJet models, replacing LJ35 (and its distinct tip tanks) with LJ45 (winglets). When it does assign LJ35A model, most of time time it uses red Deutsche Luftrettung red liveries, which looks completely out of place. I read the manual to try to understand the process which PSXT uses to assign the mode…

  20. Started by G-YMML1,

Looks like NEO TCAS is crashing with either BATC or SI traffic injected, and FSL confirmed it. I'm just curious whether PSXT traffic is also involved. Thanks. PS. Planning to buy the bird, so I'm trying to access the potential damage 🙂

  21. Started by Hurs_Sokira,

I am having problem after several recent updates to PSXT. I was using PSXT to inject static planes at the airports for VATSIM flying, so the airports would not appear deserted and parked aircraft would be realistic. It was great! But then there was a recent update that required paid RealTraffic subscription, which now injects more realistic traffic that taxies, lands/departs. etc. I was using FSLTL models (AIG download never worked properly). It has worked OK, but around January there were several PSXT updates, and now injected traffic in the air completely kills my FPS. Spawning at the airport is OK, I can see static aircraft in proper liveries parked around d…

  23. Hi. In the latest version, the program freeze during startup, using about 70-80 % of my CPU. I cannot use it in P3D and must force kill the process, as it will not shut down when clicking close. Hi Nico, in MSFS 2024, with the latest PSXT version (11.0.2), aircraft parking in a parking space will disappear immediately after the parking is complete. I tried restarting PSXT, but the error occurred again.
