Hi. In trying to download the mesh for Asia, I keep getting a CRC failure for two BGL files N20E080 and N20E110 Has anyone else had this problem? Thx

Sorry but, I've read through the pinned posts and don't seem to get the order of installation/patches. Do I need 1.00 or should I just install 1.05 and 1.06? Reason I'm asking is because 1.05 seems to contain labelled folders for each region itself. And the regions are bigger in file size than 1.00?

I am confused by about the description of the LOD. If I understand correctly it says LOD10 is the same as the original LOD of FSX/PRD. for the U.S. So, does this mean this FreeMesh would be useless to install for the U.S. as it would not add any improvement? Or, am I truly confused? Thanks, Joe

I downloaded all the free mesh via torrent, installed all ok no problems ,they all showed up in my fxs library, so I tried a couple of different flights . they were magic my frame rates were great , thought this is it cant get any better unless I buy my own plane. went to try next day all gone from my library accept the last one I used which is n/ America, I installed them all the same I still have all downloads as I am at present seeding them any ideas on this chaps I just have to add just inserted freemesh- Europe again in library shows fine , works fine but will it remain tomorrow I think not

Hello Dan and Dave, I know the subject of Plateau's is covered in the Original FreeMeshX announcement, but I just wanted further clarification. I recently purchased ORBX Ireland and if I use FreeMeshX with ORBX Ireland, there is a fairly drastic plateau for EIKN (Knock Airport) In ADE, the ORBX airport is the correct elevation, but the FreemeshX elevation seems a lot lower. I'm not complaining! it still looks amazing and all, I just wanted to know if there's a solution to this. Like a set of BGL's that the community could create to 'fix' these issues specific to ORBX regions? (btw, ORBX vector doesn't help. If I 'enable' AEC for EIKN, the airport sinks into …

Maybe I'm blind...I've only installed the following so far. FreeMeshX - Patches FreeMeshX - Australia and Oceania FreeMeshX - Europe FreeMeshX - North America Including patch 1.05. Where are the meshes for the other regions like Asia, South America etc? I could have swore they was on this support forum when I installed Europe, Australia, NA. Thanks

Hi Daniel Sorry if I have missed this somewhere, but could you clarify a question I have about patches please? The external hard-drive that I had FreeMeshX installed on has died, so I am reinstalling it. If I do a fresh download of the individual regions, will this include all current patches, or do those base files always remain the same and patches still need to be added? cheers Ian

Hi guys, really enjoy freemeshx, i found some spikes and strange spots in new zealand. i do have patch 16 installed.

First of all, FANTASTIC mesh! What a difference it has made. :smile: I hope I haven't missed an error reporting thread, but I wanted to report some spikes in an area that is probably seldom visited. Aircraft is at S 51 20.52' W 073 03.93'. Also note spikes visible in the distance behind the aircraft. (Not visible in the screen shot, but visible from the location, are a couple spikes far to the north east, aircraft heading is 270 in image).

Recently been downloading various files via direct download links (I use no download manager, and 7z is my standard unzipper) : * Australia and Oceania OK and unzipped * Antarctica OK, can be opened and unzipped * Africa-001 OK, can be opened and unzipped Africa-002 has exactly the same bytes number than Africa-001, but I can not open or unzip it whichever attempt. Anything wrong with the hosted #2 file? Just downloaded Freemeshx and the new patch 1.05 for FSXA. Wanted to see this tower. I copied and pasted the Europe folder into my Addon Scenery folder. I did the same with the patches folder. The patches folder is above the Europe folder in the scenery library. My question is: at Lat N43 43.39 and Long E10 23.66 heading 24 I see a large mound of dirt. I view 360 degree but see no tower. I got the lat/long from Wiki. Can someone please tell me where the tower actually is in FSXA? Or what have I done wrong? I installed FreeMeshX Global 1.0 first and everything worked well. I did not install Europe until today from patch 1.05. Appreciate any help.

I've installed fresh mesh succesfully as an add scenery. Is there an ideal setting in the fsx display config for this add on to be at its best, ie. mesh res, mesh complexity, etc.? thanks for the tremendous work on these and distributing them free.... tony

I'm enjoying the FreeMeshX very much. It has solved a big deal of problems I had with FTX Global Base and Vector. When I was flying around the Niagara Falls I saw that the animation of the cascade itself was too high. So, not the river but the falls themselves raised up in the sky. Is there something I could do to solve this? I have FTX Global Base + Vector + Open LC in that part of scenery. Cheers, Ben van den Boomen.

Hi Downloaded Africa file Mediafire When running Africa 7-Zip no Scenery map are created, only a new 7-zip map/library. New library won't open.. Hey guys, After I added ALL the region mesh files, I downloaded all the patches and added them to the scenery library. After doing so, when I loaded FSX I got a bunch of "scenery error area 126 etc" I download the scenery configurator tool and see this.

Hello and good evening (at this time), The installation procedure for the FreeMesh is clear and strait forward. However, I do no understand why I need to put the patches in a seperate folder...Can't we just overwrite the "original bgl" with the one provided in the latest patch? For instance for Africa, the region N10E030 has been patched, it is in the latest 1.05 patch. Why can't I simply overwrite the N10E030.bgl file from the original Africa region with the N10E030.bgl included in the patch? Hi I want to thank you guys for this amazing work! i been using fsgenesis for a few years and after installing your freemeshX i notice the difference in the areas i fly in FSX ...im a commercial pilot so i know my mountains very well and ever since i install freemesh i notice a few bugs in my country COLOMBIA. i dont know how to upload the pics in here but i can give you the airports where i notice spikes around the mountains wich in real life they are NOT there... Loaded up NYCx V2 after a complete reinstall, and works a treat. I can't go without my beloved freemesh, so that was next to be installed. However, after adding freemesh north american, the NYC v2 scenery config file pops at the loading screen with an error and unloads the NYC v2 scenery. I replicated this situation there times on my sim, has anyone else run into this yet or should I modify my scenery installation order?
