Is there anyway to download FreeMeshx directly? Because BitTorrent doesn't work on my PC, it just says "Connecting to peers" which it has been for the past hour, I've tried all the youtube fixes with no hope. So it seems direct is the only way but it looks like Nine Two have switched to torrent with no way to use a direct download. Thanks in advance!

We are discussing a crash that has long hit many fsx and p3d simmers. Someone mentioned after attempting to find all our links of similar addons to see what could cause this, that they found a ctd when flying in one direction of a specific area because of a mesh elevation error. If you can would you check eastern Canada, off the coast, when flying west from Europe I have received ctd's almost every time. I can fly east and never crash! It is a very odd situation thanks for any help. - David

Hi all, I've been trying to track down this issue for some time. I am using Freemesh Global 2.0 and the USA Beta along with ORBX Base, Vector, NALC, EULC. I have an issue (picture below) with the buildings on Pier 39 (fisherman's Wharf) sitting offset from the land they should sit on. They are currently in the water. I posted in the Prepar3d forums and the ORBX support forums. I was shown pictures of the same area with my same ORBX products installed and in those pictures, the buildings are in the right spot. This leads me to believe that it must be a problem with FREEMESH. Any help getting the tourists back onto land and not drowning in the bay while they shop …

Hi everybody! I am using the FreeMesh X since it came out. Never had problems with it. But today I was flying to Gran Canaria after quite a long time (I think the first time under P3Dv4.2) and now I had mesh issues. To be honest, I already tried different (freeware-) meshes, and all had this problem in Gran Canaria. Only the Default mesh looks good. Eh, no, it doesn't look good. It's just working without issues. FMX is placed just above the Bathymetry-Entry in the scenery library, but I also tried disabling all non-Default entries and placed the FMX-Entries at the top of the scenery library, and still these issues remain. So I am …

I have been using Orbx and FreemeshX (initial release) for most of three years without any significant issues. Now I have a problem, though. I just finished installing the latest versions of FreemeshX (Global 2.0, USA and USA HotFix 1). I started FSX-SE to continue my "Aerocommander 500 cargo operations" from Macon to Tallahassee. The taxiways and runways were littered with trees! I mean, I believe in going green, but this is ridiculous. It looked like Treebeard had moved in most of his relatives! So I slewed to the active and took off (luckily it was mostly "tree free"). Upon arriving in Tallahassee, I found Treebeard had staked his claim there also AND the airpo…

Hi Folks, Have just installed FreeMeshX as per guide, below all Airports and FTX. I have disable FTX Holgermesh for P3Dv4 Australia. I use ORBX Australia. I am also using OZx for Australia which adds a few local landmarks. But what I have around YPJT (Jandakot Western Australia) is buildings that have been pushed up with the elevations, on one edge of the elevation the building sits okay, whilst half of the building sits in midair because of the elevation. None of this is at the airport, its the buildings close by, to YPJT with the elevations from FreeMeshX. Any idea, where I should put FreeMeshX in my scenery list to have a stable normal el…

Having to reinstall everything. I have 3 files, 1.05 Patch, 1.06 Patch and the 1.07 patch. Are the 3 patches cumulative or do I install the 1.05 first, then 1.06 and then finally 1.07?

Apparently all the files I had d/l previously are now somehow corrupt and 7-zip is only able to open a few. I had all the old individual files but now when opening them with 7-zip I keep getting "Can not open file as archive" error. 7-Zip is only opening the first one in the folder, the 002, 003, etc... is where the errors are and thus cannot open them anymore. Thus I guess I need to d/l the world wide mesh again. The US mesh is fine as that is in a different format. I have never used bit torrent and am unsure where to go to download it. I went to one site to get what I thought I needed, utorrent and my a/v said it was a virus. I don't like the fact that I have to do it …

Spotted this flying into Tuscon, AZ tonight. Went back to take a day shot of it. It looks like a cursor of terrain or buildings. It may very well not have anything to do with FreeMeshX, but thought I'd share none the less. If you fly out of KRYN on about a 330hdg for 7-10 miles or so it is there. Nothing on the sectional map or Google Earth that I could find identifies it.

I'm experiencing huge spikes in the terrain at cruise flight level near the island of Samos that disappear when I got closer to the location. Is this a corrupted file in my installation or is it a bug in FreeMesh X? I'm using the most recent data files of FreeMesh X without the 2.0 installation yet. I'm using the FreeMesh X data in P3Dv4 and FSX:SE. The problem appears in both sims, so I guess it is not a configuration issue in the sim. See screenshot below for examples of the problem.

Hi I am just doing a re-install of P3Dv4 so have taken the opportunity to do a fresh install of FreeMeshGlobal using the new installation method. A couple of questions, - I don't understand the md5sums_fsx_global page, are the total file sizes for each continent listed somewhere to check all files have downloaded and installed correctly? - I am getting an error message to the effect that the file - FreeMeshX - USA\scenery\Mt RainierLOD14bgl is corrupt? cheers Ian

Hello I have downloaded the v2 files but it seems to have downloaded the same files twice ie the 2x files the same exact size in Africa showing,so being adventurous i decided for the first time to use a torrent "Utorrent " was used this downloaded the files, which seemed to work fine, but unlike the normal download method there were no installers included in the download, the new files resemble the v1 in looks,so could it be as simple as deleting V1 files and replacing with the new V2,I have version one installed into a folder called addon scenery and then installed into P3d via the scenery liabary, will this work or have I totally lost the plot Peter

Hi.. What is the best position of the FreeMeshX-Continents in the P3Dv4 SceneryLibrary ? I now have placed it just above Bathmetry and under ORBX!OLC. To get the really right performance, results, memoryhandling, etc, I think there must be an ideal spot in the Library. Please comments....

Sim is FSX SP2 Excuse me if this has been answered already but I am a little confused about the various products. I have already installed the following: All of the Free Mesh Areas V1 and all the patches ORBX OPENLC_BASE ORBXOPENLC_EUROPE1 ORBXOPENLC_NAMERICA1 FTXAA_ORBXLIBS FTX_EU_ENG_05_SCENERY FTX_EU_ENG_06_CVX FTX_EU_ENG_07_MESH FTX_EU_ENG_08_CUSTOM Could someone explain exactly what these ORBX products do. Could I install FTX Global Vector as well or would that conflict with what is already installed? Bob Palmer
