I have a question...I just installed FreeMesh X Europe yeserday (12 Nov 2015). Do I still need to install the various patches? Thanks for your attention.

Just to update everyone on our plans here at NineTwo Productions. We have several things in the works: - FreeMeshX 1.05 patch to clean up a few mesh errors reported over the summer - Middle East update - updates mesh tiles with new high resolution data released last month by NASA - FreeMeshX - USA expansion that bring the USA up to LOD12 (10-m) The Middle East patch is special in that brings new updated high resolution data in this area and the Mediterranean that was not previously available when we first started work on FreeMeshX Global. Thanks to AviationMoser for the hard work bringing this free add-on to our favorite sim. I made a couple of screenshots to show the Lothse (4th highers mountain in the world) and Everest in the same shot taken from sotheast of the mountains. We can see the improvement in details, especially the east ridge of Lothse that is now much closer to the real thing. All the rest of the scenery also benefit from the more detailed mesh. Sorry, after the C&SA download didn't work. now fixed, thank you . . .have a new problem Finding that having downloaded all 4 parts of Asia, all in same folder, clicking on .001 doesn't bring up scenery folder , it brings up "FreeMesh-+Asia.7z" in the 7z manager with a slightly different size. Trying to open or extract that gives me a copy of that of 13,762,560 Gb, still as a 7z in the same folder, then asks for a password????. Hex editor shows as looking OK, but have tried downloading each part again but still the same - never shows scenery folder, does nor extract and always asks for password. Seems bust. All very nice but 24 hours of bandwidth and download …

Hey guys, I'm still fairly new to the "updated" mesh world, and FreemeshX is my first dip in the waters. I definitely saw some cool improvements over the past few weeks, but curious, I just flew St Barts (TFFJ) to SABA (TNCS) about 30 miles away, and both airports look off with Saba being almost unusable. TFFJ has random floating buildings and houses but otherwise looks similar to stock FSX. TNCS has a weird mountain that has appeared off the side of the airport essentially boxing in the airport that is not there in stock FSX. I have never flow these in P3D before today so don't have a before comparison unfortunately in P3Dv2.5. Is this normal and just a bug in…

I'm having an error after downloading part 2 of North America. 7zip says it cannot open file as archive. Part 1 works fine. I've downloaded it several times and keep getting this error. Thanks

Hi there, I was checking the newly installed FreeMeshX Global mesh scenery (amazing!) in the Iranian airspace and observed strange lines on ground like the screenshot below: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i1duxoc87fxuue2/freemeshx_iran_syz.JPG?dl=0 All 4 patches are installed. The aircraft is inbound SYZ at FL380. What do you think about those lines down there? Last but not least, what short of scenery priority must be established between the FreeMeshX Global and addon sceneries like FlyTampa or Aerosoft? Mesh sceneries must be on top or below those airports? Thanks, Nektarios

Hi FreeMeshX Global team, I'm getting a "torrent cannot be found error" when trying to download the FreeMeshX - 1.01 Patch. Can you please check it and update the trackers accordingly? Just download the North America part 1 ( tried a couple of times ) and it appears to complete with the correct file size but when I try to extract with 7zip it dos'nt show the scenery files to be extracted, it shows the download zip file, any suggestions to what's happening. bob

I am looking for a scenery mesh program that works with FTX. Is this what I would get and how does it fair to FS Global 2010? Is there any before and after screenshots?

MediaFire is giving me a few problems. I know the second part of the South America download is affected. I'll keep you guys updated when it's resolved.

It has to be a good thing that no-one has asked a question about anything in this forum. So I'll spoil the nice clean record. :smile: I've got and uninstalled Global 2010 for reasons I wont go in to. But I recall it being very picky about where in the scenery library it should be situated. For example between Edwards AFB or before propeller objects(I forget which, but you know what I mean) Can you clarify for me where FreeMesh should go? You do seem very laid back about this. :smile:
