I download the file and its a php file cant open. What to do?

Dear Friends, i bought the new precipit and use PMDG NGX 737 . My problem is that i dont get wing vortex . I use DX10 , FSX . i already deleted as decribed at the page the complete line "vaportrail_l=" and "vaportrail_r=" , but no change .

I just purchased PrecipitFX and installed it in P3Dv2.5, I initially installed all 4 effects. I'm getting a couple of issues: The first issue: without using any weather engine, and selecting the Fair Weather theme in P3D, whilst in the aircraft, rain suddenly starts falling for a brief while. This has happened a couple of times, most notably when I was sat on the runway at Doha in Qatar... not a place renowned for it's monsoon season! The second issue seemed to be caused by the Contrails effect. Directly behind the aircraft, whilst on the runway, I would see a large cloud appear, this happened both with propeller aircraft like the Constellation and a Jet fighter l…

So i can reproduce this everytime i fly the PMDG, NGX, everything is updated, latest PrecipitFX, latest NGX version, P3d is updated, i install the package and fly, when i`m on finals regardless or weather time of day anything it always crashes about 200-500 feet above the rwy on final, i uninstall PrecipitFX and its fine again.... I know Precipitfx is designed for the generic FSX aircraft but can someone please advise if it will work with the PMDG 737 for FSX? Thanks

I read the announcement about Q2 2015 Update in the blog section of FSFX Packages website. The question is, when will the update be released? I enjoyed using it, but I have to use default contrails due to the performance issues in DirectX 10 mode. Anyway, the effects are massively well-done in FSX Deluxe and Steam Edition!

I have 1 activation left, and I'm just wondering, what about people who are moving to a new sim, ie FSX to FSX:SE, or from FSX to P3D. I hated FSX and worked like a nightmare on my new PC, lags, crashes constantly, so I forked out for P3D but I'm wondering if I can still keep my number of activations? I mean I don't wanna end up having to buy the thing again if I use my activations up, since that's kinda.. well bad business practice.

i have been having issues with the airbus series from aersoft and preciptfx. I did some trouble shooting and then tried to do a flight last night, the precptfx and the bus series are not getting along. Causing CTD's Was inbound to ENGM defualt scenery, it was raining as soon as i hit the rain with the A319 it crashed. Not having any other affects on other payware add ons as in planes. Also an issue with GSX pushing back the Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321. When it pushes me back it will stick for a couple of seconds then release it does this many times. Hey Guys I apologize if this is not where I should place a "general question". But, are you guys working with Wilco's Falcon 7X by any chance to make your product work well with that aircraft? Just curious. Matthew

I was flying the PMDG 747F and I noticed that the nice looking contrails I see on my other planes isn't showing up on my 747 from PMDG. I have all my settings up high (special effects etc). I uninstalled and reinstalled the package but its still showing the default contrails. Any ideas why? Thanks John V

Hi I get two error messages on startup of PrecipitFX : First I get the message : "an error occur contact —censored email— with this error: -4" and when I click the OK button I get this message : "an error occur contact —censored email— with this error: -3" When I then click OK the login page shows but when I try to login PrecipitFX just returns to the login page. I use windows 7 ultimate 64bit and PrecipitFX have been working on my system before. I have tried to uninstall and did the steps on the FAQ page and removed the folders but still I can not get PrecipitFX to run. Regards Widar

Not sure if anyone else has this issue. When I switch from one tower view to the next sometimes the contrails will stop and then when I go to another tower they start back up. I always see them in spot view but tower view is weird.

Hi, I have seen that the wingtip vortices on a PMDG 737 NGX appear on the wingtip, near the winglet. In real life they appear on the TE outer flap tip (see video below). Is it possible to change something in the configuration in order to have them there? Thanks.

Hi guys, I suspect that I'm being a noob here, but I'm seeing contrails on ground level in the PMDG NGX (P3D v2.5 with hot fixes installed) - see attached image. I've tried uninstalling and then re-installing once again, but I'm still getting them. I was just wondering if it was me not doing the right thing or if it's something else? Is anyone else getting the same thing? More importantly, has anyone got a solution? Thanks in advance for your help, guys.....and if it's me being a noob....sorry! Tom.

I'm having some issues with AI and contrails with V1.3 and P3D V2.5 The contrails of AI aircraft will only show when I'm in my aircraft at about 3 miles proximity and then disappear again. If I "go to" one of the AI aircraft then I can see the contrails as they would work and as I would expect them to work normally. When I go back to my own plane the contrails stop and only start again when within 3 miles or so. If the plane is flying across my view in the flight deck and I choose to get up close then return to the flight deck then the contrail will only show for the period that I was focussed on the aircraft. Hey guys, I've had issues with determining the version of precipitfx and other users over on the Orbx forums eventually showed me the root cause. Look at the differences in these two screenshots: And As can be seen, different Windows OS versions have different GUI elements. In my case with windows 8, I cant see the version number display. If you were to do a minor redesign of your GUI, that would fix the issue across different windows versions Thanks

PrecipitFX doesn't seem to add the effects for UT2 aircraft located at SimObjects/UT2 Aircraft. Wondering if there is a way to add the effects instead of modifying the Aircraft.cfg one by one?
