FS2CREW: MAJESTIC DASH8 Q400

I noticed that there's been an update to 2.1 since Jun 29, however FSS doesn't have the update. They're notoriously slow about pushing updates, but 2 weeks is pushing it even for them. Any way I can download the update or FS2Crew could light a fire under them? Maybe even an account import feature like Majestic has so that people from 3PVs can use your site to update? I have sent requests to FSS and have rec'd no response. Thanks!!

New install into fsx-fsx.se side by side. When I run config mgr it seems it cannot find file appears to be looking in fsx boxed area not steam area??

I've bought the Q400 variant, I can see reference to RAAS in the documentation but can't find a download exe or installer anywhere? Thanks

Hi, I'm running FS2CREW for the Q400. Sometimes when I speak, I see other apps respond and open. A few times P3d asked if I wanted to shut down the sim. Last night my mouse was unusable and I couldn't shut down my PC. My voice must have triggered a command to disable the mouse completely. I run the following: Windows10 Q400 FS2CREW USB Headset I'm sure there's a setting I missed somewhere when setting up the voice and/or headset. Thanks for any help Fly safe

Hello Bryan, May I make a couple of suggestions / requests for the next update as I have read in another post that there will be one coming soon: _ The FO sets the TCAS to TA/RA during the before takeoff checklist to the line flow. Is it possible to delay it until the below the line flow? The idea is that the flow "to the line" is quite long and I'm used to performing it while taxiing to the rwy and then do the below the line call when the ATC clears me for takeoff. But in that case, the TCAS is on TARA (well) before entering the runway and I have systematically to set it back to stby if I don't want to get a call from the online ATC. _ The second point is reg…

I have read and followed all procedures (word by word) since yesterday. Disabled Windows Defender & Malware-bytes, added exceptions for PrePar3d 3.2. Uninstalled & reinstalled. Pressed the "N" button, after right-clicking on both icons (FSCrew2 & P3D) and ran as Admin. This is one software that actually has me 'stumped' I did notice the 'panel.cfg' file in my FS directory; the type of file is FS2Crew.backupfile. Purchased the MJC8 Q400 about one month ago, so I believe I have the most updated version. I disabled the 'Shared-cockpit' within the MJC8 Q400 control panel. When I am doing my first flight the FO calls out V1 rotate etc but on the second leg and thereafter FO doesn't call out 80 knots nor the V speeds and he does not say positive rate and does not respond to the gear up commands. Anything after that flight phase he operates as normal. I'm fully aware of the procedures and commands which i execute on the first leg but when i'm doing another flight the takeoff segment it just does not work for me. Am I missing something?

Hi, I have just re-installed the voice version of Dash 8. And I can not enable the voice when i click on the button I get the message box with "FS2Crew Voice Control Disabled!" I have the lastest version of FS2Crew 1.3 I am patched up to the latest version of the airplane I have UAC to never notify I have my hard / soft and control buttons correctly set But still unable to enable it. Very strange as I had it on here last time and worked first time. I am using FSX:SE Any help / advice, greatly appreciated. Thanks Paul

Hi all: The last 3 flight, the FSX has CTD. The error seems to be in the FS2CrewQ400Voice.Gau file. This is the faulting module: Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\FS2Crew2010\Versions\MJCQ400\Gauges\FS2CrewQ400Voice.GAU Have anyone the same problem? I have the the fsx with the aceleration pack (with the 2 SP). I use active sky Next, and connected to IVAO. Thanks.

I have installed FS2Crew and run it for several days w/o issue. However today I get this error. Fail q400 out of date, in red when I load up my fs2crew panel. By all accounts I'm using the latest q400. V1.018c and version 2.0 of the FS2Crew panel. Is there something I can do get these in sync? I've reinstalled the latest v1.018 q400 and still get this error. My FO stops at originating flows and doesn't do anything. Thanks.

FS2 seemed to be working fine after the upgrade to 3.2 but It stopped loading for some reason. I reloaded FS2 latest version and still can't get a load even after trying different start keys. I checked the Views menu and don't see any FS2 or other addons that previously showed there. I see the FS2 code shows in the panel.cfg and looks normal. I did notice a flash as though it tried to load but didn't finish and then it goes dead. Does this sound like a FS2 problem or am I doing something wrong as usual My upgrade to 3.2 has been very rocky! Ken

Hello! Bought the FS2Crew for my Q400 and I am trying to get it to work but as of yet it just simply refuses to load. Installed as admin. Enabled in the Config manager. Loaded up P3dv3.2 and the Q400. Tried several keys as per the manual but nothing works. It gets added in the panel.cfg but they can't be seen when in P3D. Tried re-installing but no difference. I installed the button control version and all is working well. But do the FA dialoques work only in the voice control version? Hans Kampman

When installing button -voice control update for Q400, must the voice control version be uninstalled first, or can I just install the dual version over the voice version?

First off, I'm using the pro version of the Dash 8, so don't take it too seriously I thought it was funny though. I planned a flight from MDPC to TNCM. After having prepared the cockpit for takeoff, I taxied to the RW and took off, with my 'innocently' behaving FO, relaxingly doing his stuff. Then at his 'positive rate' callout I told him to retract the gear which he did, BUT then I saw the red lights above the gear lever. Switched to the outside view and noticed that the gear indeed didn't retract. So basically that guy lied straight into my face when we did the preflight checklist and HE said 'gear pins...stowed'

Just purchased the FS2crew Q400. On pages 8 and 9 ( Voice control and button control ) It tells you to set 1: Soft Mute to the FSX assignment PROPELLER SYNC (ON/OFF) 2. Hard Mute to the FSX assignment ALTERNATE STATIC SOURCE (ON/OFF) Then on pages 10 and 11 ( Main & Secondary button setup ) it tells you to assign the same FSX assignments to the Main & Secondary button setup as you did for the Mute! 1. Good morning I just wanted to find out if anyone has come across the read fail warning coming up in the voice version of V1.6. It only happened last night, I have retried it this morning and still the same. What I noticed last night was that FS2C could not read work out V1 or the correct fuel quantity that was loaded. And some commands were just not being picked up like the "After take of check list" it just plain ignored me. Most first officers to one they have seem my landings. Few days ago I changed my Pc to an ASUS ROG,after installing The Q400 and The fs2crew im having problems with The voice commands. Sometimes when i start The fs2crew The voice commands works other times it simples dosent. All The configuiration Is ok, The voice button Is ON, I use USB headset, The microphone configuration Is set, The Microsoft Is set to English-US, the microphone is not muted,I did The speech reconigtion training profiles many times. The OS is Windows 10 Home. Anyone can help me with this problem?

Hi , I hope I’m in the right place, I was watching a YouTube Video on the Majestic Q8-400 where he said there was a little program on the Avsim site where you could download a small program that would do your V1 –Vr- V2 calculations for you. I have been all over the site but can’t find it, can someone point me in the right directions. It would be much appreciated. Jack

With the new Pro version coming out tomorrow for P3D v3 I have to think of buying the voice version to go along side it. Questions Does your Voice version install into v3? Will you need to update it for the pro version? probable yes but am sure it will work fine for day to day ops.

Hi, After a long time I decided to reinstall FS2Crew for Q400 (again). Still I'm having difficulties to use it on my system. I don't see the timer in the display, like T+24 etc Is that because I omitted the Pre-Flight Events? Is the timer only working with pre-flight events? When omitting the pre-flight events, is it required to manually cycle to each next action/checklist, by using the arrows keys in the display? What is the exact phrase I should use for the Flaps response in After Start checklist?? It says: SET / Indicating CR. Just completed my first flight in the Pro version, all working great. Just one small request. The ambient sounds, starting at approx -20 Min are VERY loud, make it hard to get speech recognised. Occasionally too much noise for the Microphone. I know I can reduce the volume via the SERV/INT knob, but that reduces the volume of the FO as well. To have a chance to reduce the volume of these ambient sounds seperately would be great. Mike

During before start checklist my FO confirms that gears pins were stowed. But in fight I found out he forgot to stow it. My fault of not double checking. Is there settings that he will stow it for me? I found FMS to be immersion breaking. Thank you!
