    I'm finding the TBM quite "lively" and not easy to control during takeoff and landings.. So I've toned it down a bit - which makes it more forgiving.     Has anyone noticed the climb performance difference after SP1??? I feel that after rotation she does not accelerate as rapidly. When heavy, 6500lbs+, flap retraction is 115 IAS. I seem to be unable to reach that speed unless I climbing less then 1000 fpm..... is this normal???

    Hi everyone, I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up the ILS in this bird. I get the correct ILS freq from the airport page on the MFD and put it into the NAV 1 box on the PFD but when I come to do my approach I see no indication of the localizer being intercepted on finals. I'm sure I'm missing a very simple step here and if anyone could point it out I would appreciate it!!! Cheers

Hi guys, after downloading and installing the newest/latest version of the TBM I have real performance problem with this bird After take off i can climb with 1600ft/m when I'am lucky and with a IAS of 115 kts, every higher climb rate ends up with a rapidly lost of the speed I have activated the 850 flap but then I get only a red alert message for "Torque" but no change in the performance When I installed the first version, I was able to climb with a steady speed of ~145 kts and with 2400ft/m up to higher levels but now it is neaerly impossible to fly the TBM with a acceptable performance.   7. Using either the direct-to or way-point funkction, is there any way to search the name of the airport/navaid etc. rather than the identifier? I can jump to the second line, which shows the name once you've typed in an identifier, but I can't seem to be able to type in a name directly.

    The front left side engine cover has a gap that extends from the front/top all the way down the side of the compartment. I reported this in the initial model screenshots but it looks like it wasn't fixed. It essentially makes the left side engine panel portrude out from the model.

    Another issue for SP2, I hope. When starting and shutting down the engine with 'auto-start' and 'auto-shutdown', there are significant issues with sound management. Sometimes engine sound does not shut off -- and other times it just shuts off abruptly. For illustration, do a couple of auto-starts and auto-shutdowns with the 850, then on the B200 --- speaks for itself. Needs some attention. Many Thanks !!!! ^_^

    Hi. I have trouble understanding a couple of things with this otherwise beautiyful Aircraft; I cant reach more than 100% trq. I see in the power settings pdf that up to 124.1% trq is mentioned. I also see that i can never get the powerlever up to more than 92% and that there seems to be a blocking device. I feel kind of stupid here now and would really like som help Regards Bjørn Bergum

    Maybe you'll find it in the checklist, but as soon as you've got the MFD up and running, you can turn off the engine info on the PFD, by pushing the red button at the bottom of the Audio panel.

    So, I'm flying with the PFD as aid to center the plane on ILS during an instrument approach. There is a backup horizon gauge above and to the right (analogue). It _looks_ as if the caret at the top should also identify nose on center, but of course it's offset to the right. Is this true in the actual TBM850 as well? Takes getting used to at first.

    So after my normal new airplane air trials I cant seem to get this airplane to 320 TAS.... I did a test tonight by the book.... ISA+5 27,000ft Aprox. 6500 at FL Chart says TRQ111% - 318TAS - FF62.9gph I was wide open throttle @ TRQ108% - 292TAS - FF61gph And i have not been able to to produce anywhere near 320TAS as of yet....... Has anyone noticed a problem with this flight model?

This is a really lovely airplane, and I hope that Carenado sticks with it and fixes the various reported bugs in their traditional two Service Packs.. B)

    I currently have the Malibu and am pretty much satisfied with it. My question is, what will I gain by getting the TBM? Simwise is there a big difference between them.     I up'd an EZDok cam set with believable efx. Just search for TBM 850. I just up'd it as of this post, so give it a few hours to show in the lib. Enjoy! PS: my standard way of flying is to have pop ups on the side kick monitor... but I find myself staying inside the VC with this cam set. My key assignments use Q to O, but you may want to change these to your liking.
