Just finished a short flight, and everything works as expected.

I just had to make a small size adjustment for the GTN, because the upper half of the Radio row was not fisible.

Pilot Door Handle OCD

Has anyone else noticed that the pilot door handle is facing the wrong way than on a real TBM 850? I know its Carenado, but this really drives me nuts for an otherwise very nice looking VC, to the point I don't even want to fly it. Anyone ever attempted to fix this?

TBM Course Dial Bug

It's non-functional in left side. Adjusts heading bug. Right side works but the took tool tip says None. Anyone else have this problem? Sometimes Panel lights take out all course adjustment capability. Impossible to use Vortack that way.

GTN750 Mod FIX for TBM850 version 2 update

With the release of the TBM 850 version 2 update, some problems were created for the integration of Bert Pieke's GTN 750 mod.

The biggest problem is not being able to use the autopilot panel in the VC, which means you lose the ability to set heading, altitude, etc.....

As I absolutely love the GTN 750 mod, and didn't want to fly the TBM 850 without it, I created an update to fix the compatibility issue.

I contacted Mr. Pieke, and he gave me his permission to distribute the fix/update to anyone who wants to use his GTN750 mod with the new Version 2 TBM850.

NOTE: This is only an update for the GTN750 mod. If you don't have the original GTN750 mod for the TBM850, you need to contact Bert Pieke through PM to get it.

The update enables you to use the autopilot panel in the VC again (as much as Carenado's autopilot works, anyways), and also adds compatibility with the updated shift+# pop-up windows.

If you would like the update, please send me a PM with your email, and I will send you the update as soon as I can.

Glidescope indicator missing in GPS mode during approach

I notice that the glidescope indicator is missing in GPS mode during approach for TDM 850, but when compared to Phenom 100, the glidescope indicator is displayed at the PFD. Both TDM 850 and Phenom 100 use the same Garmin G1000 PFD. Any reason for the missing glidescope indicator?

TBM 850 dive when AP is activated during climb

I notice that TBM 850, very often dive to the ground when AP is activated during climb. But I don't face these problems with the PA46 Meridian and Phenom.

My TBM settings are, flaps set to T/O, climb speed 120knots+.

Anyone encounter the sudden dive during the climb?

Since i've had the tbm for around a year now, I never got the cabin lights to work. If anyone knows how to fix this please help, i've reinstalled the plane, if i give it a fresh uninstall then install again might it work? please let me know thanks!

I recently watched a YouTube video from YouTuber FS Mania. He has some wonderful videos and I hope he comes back to post more videos. He mentioned the stock G1000 does not allow for SIDS and STARS but that some guys had got together to modify the G1000 which will allow for SIDS and STARS. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can add this mod to my FSX (boxed) Carenado TBM 850...Thank you

Dusted off the TBM for FSX Boxed Edition and what!?! the weather radar is showing signs of life that is matching my ASN map!

One big problem... It is set at Tilt - Up - 150. I need this to be closer to level, how do I do this? I know I will be told that this is not a working function, but something is working that did not before.

Very curious if anyone else can confirm this on theirs.

I am thinking of buying the TBM750 as I already own the Phenom 300 (with Navigraph expansion pack +SVS) from Carenado)

1) How do i UPDATE the database ( Airports, VORS, Intersections, Waypoints, SIDs, STARS,Approaches) if I do NOT install GTN750 ?

2) Does the Autopilot panel have a functional VNAV button?

Yaw dampener stuck on, VS stuck off

I've got most everything working pretty well with this bird now. But the yaw dampener won't go off and I cannot make the vertical speed wheel work or make vertical speed itself activate. I have looked at several videos, looked through the manuals and I feel like I'm stuck. Any ideas? I think I'm staring down at the business end of a reinstall.

After selecting an approach when I try to go back and delete the destination airport, as I would with a GNS 530, to fly to the first approach waypoint, instead of the airport, the G1000 deletes the airport destination and approach as well. It seems the only way that I can keep an approach loaded is if I also keep the destination airport. Am I missing something?

For some reason after about 3 flights with the TBM 850 the SVS decides to stop working saying "NO LIC" According to the manual, it means that my 3 year subscription ended, even though it didn't. The DA62 G1000's SVS works completey fine

I have a problem with my TBM 850 glowing at night. I don't know how to fix this, I attempted to make a tomato shade reflection profile but it didn't go so well. I'm using dynamic reflections and dynamic light in p3d, disabling these didn't give me a different result.

No SVS in Pop up PFD

I purchased the TBM because of the G1000 and it's ability to use the Synthetic Vision I have in the C208 and the Phenom300. Oddly, while it works fine in the TBM I find that when I bring up the pop up PFD it's the old one without SVS. Everything else works on it just as on the one in the virtual cockpit but no SVS is even available.

Is this normal or have I done something wrong? It works on the pop up PFDs on the other two aircraft.
