Does anyone know how to adjust this. (See photo) No matter how much fuel you add or when you add it, the "FUEL ONBOARD" always starts at 60.x gallons.......Even though the actual onboard fuel was 220 gal. I asked Carenado and they blew me off..... The other Carenado G1000 aircraft have a fuel tab in the MFD where you can select you start fuel. It even says this in the manual (even though its the SR22 manual that they are trying to pass off as the TBM) It is driving me nuts because I use these stats in flight planning for fuel mgmt.

I just bought the aircraft last week and I am really enjoying it. But I am a big Ivao online flyer and I can't see other aircraft on the TCAS. I have it on and I can see the other players fine. But the airplanes TCAS itself won't show any aircraft at all (I can confirm its on because of the yellow indicator in the MFD and PFD inset. I'm doing something wrong ? What else do I need? Any help its greatly appreciated Regards Ignacio Enviado desde mi iPad con Tapatalk HD

Just downloaded and installed as administrator. No anti-virus, firewall off. The plane is running great in FSX except there is no sound. My other planes have sound. I also notice that there is no "countdown" while the plane is installing, but this is my first Coronado so that might be characteristic of it. I have reinstalled the software twice. Any dieas? Thanks.

Hi everyone, So I was just wondering if anyone knew whether it would be possible to edit the ACAS (Airborne collision avoidance system) to display nearby traffic's altitude in relation to your own altitude? As it stands you have no way of telling how close nearby traffic is to you because you don't know what altitude they're at. Ideally you would see a + or - number next to their symbol on the MFD that describes how many thousands of feet above or below you they are. For example, say you're flying at 8,000ft and you see an aircraft on the map with a -2 next to it. This would mean that they were 2,000 feet below you at 6,000ft. Does anyone know if this is possible? Per…

I had my early doubts, but post SP2, the TBM 850 is really solid, especially with a GNS530 popup in place of the MFD popup, and with my PFD/MFD mods installed. Just had a really satisfying flight from Bend, Oregon to KPDX, following in the footsteps of "Emily" in the Flight Video Productions "Columbia" video. ^_^ The RXP 530 provides a bulletproof navigation interface, and the G1000 PFD/MFD does what the G500 PFD/MFD does in the Malibu, provide primary flight info and a moving map. Carenado has actually done quite a lot to improve the G1000 over the C182T and Cirrus, and at present this is quite acceptable IMHO. Also, the Garmin Integrated Flight Deck with a nice aut…

I usually fly low enough that cabin pressure is not an issue, but with this airplane I fly higher and get warning messages, so I try to adjust the pressure. Hopefully someone here has more experience with this: - Why is the default pressure selection setting some -1200 feet? - When I try to spin the selection knob, I often have start up problems, in that the knob has no effect.. and then it suddenly works if you can help me through this, I would appreciate it!

Has anyone come up with a way to turn down the brightness of the MFD in Topo mode? The pop up is perfect, but in the normal virtual panel view it seems too bright. Bill

Hi all, Just purchased the TBM850 HD Series from Carenado for FSX and while I am happy with it overall, I have one problem - the MFDs are fairly blurry unless I click on them to zoom in. Anyone else encounter this and if so, is there a fix?

As soon as I start the engine, the MFD map constantly shifts back and forth. Hard to describe how far - maybe 1/8 inch. It shifts back and forth in a lower right to upper left direction approximately every second or less. If I shut down the engine (on the ground) it is steady again. Never have seen this on any G1000 display. Anyone else seeing this? Jim

Has anyone got a way of adjusting the electrical load (AMPS) on this airplane? Even with all the lights on, I get an indication of zero B and 14 G for Battery and Generator load (in cruise) and yet, in the TBM video, the indication is 6-12 B and 47-77 G.. quite a difference!

I like to have some favorite settings set at startup - yours may differ, but here goes.. Just create a little XML gauge and call it in the panel.cfg.. <Gauge Name="Control_init" Version="1.0"> <!-- Initial settings --> <Element> <Select> <Value> (L:Init_IR,bool) ! if{ 1 (>L:WINDOWSTINTBOOL,bool) 1 (>L:WINDOWSTINTBOOL2,bool) 1 (>L:Init_IR,bool) } <!-- Set Pressurization Goal to zero, if negative --> (A:PRESSURIZATION CABIN ALTITUDE GOAL, feet) -40 < if{ 1 (>K:PRESSURIZATION_PRESSURE_ALT_INC) } …

Hi there, don´t know if I am the only one, but I checked twice my calibrations ... on startup you cannot see NG rise up to 11-13 % to give Low Idle condition, it stays at 0%! Also the NG shows about 54% instead of 69% in Flight-Idle-Power and High-Idle Conditon after full engine start up according to the manual. Maybe this could also be the cause that this bird needs some power lever movement to get her rolling instead of the common self roll on behavior it should show like most turboprops, as at about 69% NG it is indeed having a roll on!? And whatever I try to do in 850-mode I cannot seem to get this bird higher than 295kts TAS in leveled position. Tried vario…

I noticed on the Carenado model that the Pilot's side window is much smaller than the co-pilot's side window. Is that normal in the real TBM 850 or a bug?

The manual states that waypoints in a flight plan can be entered via the cockpit keyboard. This doesn't appear to work for dirt-to waypoints, you're stuck spinning the knob. I haven't found the keyboard to be usable for anything.

From sitting in the left seat virt cockpit view.............. Normally this is not a problem but 60% seems to close and 50% is a little to far.............. Is there any way to set the zoom percentage to 53% instead of the normal 10% increments? I do not like EXdok. Is there a way to set the zoom levels to less then the 10% increments???

Anyone here also have the standby altimeter set to 29.92 on the PDF and have it say 29.91 on the standby? Furthermore the PFD Baro should say "STD BARO" when set to 29.92.
