Voice Control Version

Hello, I checked the forum but did not find an answer on the following: When I start the pre-flight-event process, it would take up to 30mins to complete it (e.g. at 18min before the next process, I am asked for boarding and it continues like that). In a prior button version used with a Wilco Airbus, I remember that this time could be shortened by just pressing on a left arrow in the panel. Is it possible to shorten these long minutes as well? Hi, I've just installed FS2crew for the Airbus extended X and I've installed everything it tells me to. However when I go into fsx and select the panel, the Voice button never stays in the on position. There for I cannot speak to the crew. Please help because I'm desperate to get this addon working as it's my first FS2Crew addon I have, Thank you Conner

Hello. Just downloaded this product and when I right click the configurator it doesn't show the FS2 Crew panel on the right. Now prior to download the Configerator had two panels,but I see with the correct panel it should have three panels. My Configerator is not recognising FS2 Crew or the fix I downloaded. If I can get the third panel up it should work. I must tell you I am not experienced with computers. Can someone help me please.

Hi I am now unable to close the FS2Crew Panel and non of my setting are being saved (HS, Speakers etc) Any idea please anone?

Hi Bryan, first of all : awesome product, as usual ! I have a little problem, wich is not a showstopper, but it´s quite annoying. Every time i call for the landing checklist, the FO doesn´t respond (landing checklist command is recognized and properly displayed), the only way to go through the landing checklist is switching to approach and then back to landing. I´ve done at least 20 flights , following the flows to the letter, everything is properly set up for landing : Flaps3/Full, Sliding table stowed, cabin crew advised, Go around altitud set, etc., etc. I even did a fresh reinstall of Airbus and FS2Crew, still the same.It´s driving me nuts ! Hi all, When i have to takeoff with config 3 flap setting, in the "before takeoff cheklist to the line" when the FO ask for flap setting, i reply "config 3" and FO won' respond anything, i have to say "set" to go to the next item. This only happen with config 3 setting. Do you know how to solve ? Thanks,

Hi Bryan! Looks pretty similar to the EFIS CSTR thing you fixed. I'd think that APPR should disarm LOC because an armed LOC would make the pilots believe that the G/S will NOT be captured - so it should be either LOC or APPR, AFAIK. Thanks for bothering!

Good day to you all! I could do with a little help: I cannot seem to install FS2 Crew. The error message is that Arbus Xtended is not installed. I guess it has to do with the registry. I tried and Google a possible solution but so far drew a blank. Thank you in advance for you help. Laurentzi

HI, i have the latest update installed but only two voice packs are working (US and EU). When i select another one, i don't hear anything from the FO. In the previous version, the same happened. How can this be solved ?

After take off, I say GEAR UP and it goes up..But after about 15sec FO says gear up again, and I hear the sound from the gear lever like the FO moves the gear lever ?

I recently purchased Fs2crew for the Airbus Extended however it took me a while to get it working. As mentioned in the Fs2crew support pages, if you cannot hear the copilot there are a couple of steps to check, one of them being to check the audio setup on my computer. Took me a while to find where the issue was on my laptop but eventually found the settings to change........ needed to have a setting for left and right speaker enabled, Have been learning how to use Fs2crew over the last few days and in my opinion this is a professional piece of software. hey, first of all thank u for this great product. I just experienced a strange crash to desktop and wanted to post this if anyone had this issue before. I took off at LOWW and was cleared to FL 110, when passing the TL 5000 feet i set the Baro to STD and spoke "set standard" and after the FO said "now" when passing FL060 i answered with "checked" and simsalabim my FSX crashed. It's my first CTD and i will keep u posted if this is happening again. Did anyone have trouble with this? Thanks in advance and once again, it is an amazing product Bryan, thank u for that!!

Hi Bryan, today i noticed, that If I push the "Play Brief" Button for Approach, the Captain always confirmed Flaps 3 for landing. Thats strange, because at the MCDU I´ve selected Flaps full. Isn´t the Approach Brief reading out the settings from the MCDU?

Hello, Great product once again, although I'm having one issue. Since installing FS2Crew for my Aerosoft Airbus I've been unable to use the Aerosoft Airbus with REX Latitude, although Latitude is observing my sim. Are you aware of any issues with REX Latitude?

Hi Bryan! Today it looks as if there actually could be an issue for me. I try to voice command a new ALT/FL for the FCU, combined with a change from OP to managed CLB/DES or the other way round - no love: All I get is the new ALT, but not the new mode, even though the Green Bar tells me my combined command is recognized. As long as I issue two separate commands (ALT change first, mode change next) it works perfectly. Any more reports on the same issue or am I missing an important step? Thanks!

Hi, Bryan! I have a non-English version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1. There is no speech recognition for this (Polish) version of Windows 7. I am not planning to upgrade to Windows Ultimate or to buy Windows 8. Is there no way I can use the Airbus X Voice version? :( I've found your advice on using 'Vistalisator'. But I don't know it this software may make some mess in my system or it is perfectly safe. Can you advice on what to do best to (possibly) be able to use FS2Crew Voice? Once it turns out to be possible, you will have (at least) one more customer. All the best, Robert

Hello, I have been doing the voice training now for three times, but the computer still puts in four instead of two. When I speak for example "Set two two zero zero on the transponder" the FO (computer) detects in 90% 4400. Anyone having the same problem? Regards and thanks

Hi, great product! Is it possible to implement commands for vertical speed-angles in Bird-mode? It's important for manual non-precision (Loc/DME) approaches. For example like: "FPA minus three point zero degrees" or similar. Thanx in advance Chris

Hi I am enjoying the AXE voice control system and it seems to be operating very well on my system. I have noticed, however, that I sometimes get the green bar at the top of the screen with random words or numbers in it, and even sometimes the FO will say something like Checked or Set without prompt. I see in the manual that the Green Bar messages are likely to happen and that with Hard Mute the FO will not act on anything, but it seems to happen a lot, i.e. every few seconds even when my environment is quiet. Hi Bryan, this one is a bit tricky to explain for me, but I try During the Landing Checklist the PNF asks for the "Cabin Crew (advised)"," A/THR (Speed/OFF)" and "ECAM Memo (Ldg. No Blue)" This is no Problem so far. The Problem is his answer after you announce "Speed" during the Landing checklist. You´ll get an answer from your FO "checked" which should not come at this flight Phase. So I assume, the FO thinks your are reading "Speed" from your Primary Flight Display, like f.e. "G/S Blue" or "LOC star" etc. - but for the Landing checklist "Speed" is not to be answered with "checked". I hope you understand what I try to explain If not - leave it - it´s a…
