I got an email today from SimElite Solutions that they released a new program called Real Time Flight Manager. It is a fantastic program that you execute before P3d (or other sims) and you can open P3d at ANY airport in the world and the time will be correct. Not only that.....BUT as you fly the time will change to the correct time in that part of the world. Started a flight at London, Heathrow this morning (+5 hours from U.S. PA time), and flew to Tegel, Berlin (which is +6 hours from U.S. PA time). Hi, no idea what has happened, all of a sudden I've lost the ability to use the space bar + mouse combination to pan around and zoom, my hat button still operates on my joystick ( Saitek X52 ) but the key board and mouse no longer work, has anyone else ran into this issue? I have not changed anything that I'm aware of. P3DV4.3, win10. Regards Rod.

Hello all, Yesterday I decided to finally install 4.5 (I'd been on 4.2 all this time too lazy to update). So I did the update, just installing the content and the client thus trying to avoid having to install addons over again. I am not confronted with strange artifacts that seem to be caused by vegetation. So far I tried: switching dynamic vegetation on and off reinstalling contents making sure to have a clean autogen and texture folder installed the latest Nvidia driver playing with various options in settings including v-synch and triple buffering (although I think this could be one of the culprits… not sure I tried…

I just did a client only (4.4 to 4.5) update this morning; interesting enough, my load times have actually increased 150%. Indeed the mesh (6%) seems to load faster, but everything else is much slower. Anyone else experience this anomaly?

So I bought the Orly scenery today and got a less than desirable performance outcome (in terms of low FPS and/or stuttery simulation using the A320 FSLabs). Even taking out the eye-candy options available in the "control panel" of the scenery, which normally for other high quality sceneries work nicely, but not this case. So after a long time I tried changing P3D v4.5 internal graphic settings, and although I wasn't able to get 30 FPS (as locked inside P3D) in that area (at least without lowering significantly the settings, which I did not) I noticed that neither any of my CPU cores (8700K HT OFF 5 GHz) nor my GPU (1080 Ti) were running at 100% load! Hi all, as the night lighting is further enhanced, I continue flying in the dark, as it simply looks phantastic, especially with DL active. But, a little bit (or a big bit) disappointing is the way to bright textures on many of e.g. the Aerosoft Airports, including EDDF, LSZH, LEBL and so on. Here are two pictures, the first from EDDF and the second from LSZH, illustrating the problem. If you compare the ground with the surrounding ground textures and also the taxiways, they are way to bright. Like illuminated from a source below. While LSZH is slightly less pronounced, EDDF simply pops out of the environment like this, totally unrealistic. What can I do about this? …

SimShack are offering the VirtualCol ATR-42 Series free on their website. This may interest some who are put off splashing out on a certain competitor product and hence not feel cheated by having done so! There is a FMS with some basic functionality but you may well be able to integrate a GTN 750 either into the cockpit or as a popup. Of course, this is presumably a rather fun offering and is nowhere near a study-level aircraft, but may suit those who want a feel of the aircraft and its systems rather than committing themselves any further. No complaints on this one financially!

When I'm approaching an airport, the elements of the terrain begin to appear little by little, step by step wheter it's trees, buildings, houses, etc, this become very unreal as you can imagine, what could be happening?. I just watched the latest preview video of Environment Force, and for a guy who loves tweaking, this is going to be awesome. A few days ago I was on the GSX forum from FS Dreamteam. I was just browsing, not posting, when I clicked to another subforum and got the message "Sorry "myusername" you are banned from using this forum". I tried another browser, same message. I tried from my ipad and got the message: "Sorry Guest you are banned from using this forum" I am banned even on my ipad, which is different from my computer? Why was I banned at all? OK Lockheed Martin - you promised a quicker load time for v4.5 My default scenery used to take 2 minutes to load in v4.4 After installing v4.5 that same scenery now takes 4 minutes 30 seconds. In fact it stalls at the 6% load for 2 minutes 15 seconds (the time it used to take to fully load under v4.4) Why? Can someone please help?

Flying for a VA for a couple of years now and moving from GA to Copters , have finally settled on two aircraft that I fly exclusively. The PMDG 737 and the Majestic Q400. To keep my senior mind working as best as it can, I have been following a routine of flying one of them all the time for 2 months and then switching to the other. Since the flying of the two aircraft is different, it keeps me from getting bored, and usually the first or second flight right after I make the switch, is not the most error free flight, but I find the challenge of this change very enjoyable. Hi guys, As part of our upcoming Airbus Cadet Program, we're going to do a series of almost real-time line flights around the Alpine region - from Nice to Geneva, across to Milan, down to Palma de Mallorca and then back to Nice. All in a day's work for a Euro low-cost airline! I want this to look as good as possible and I've been looking into the various meshes and photo sceneries available for this part of the world. "Don't fix what ain't broke" I probably should have listened to that. I was running an i5-8600k, and it ran P3Dv4 quite happily. However, at areas like NYC and LA, it would struggle bigtime. And so I decided to upgrade to an i7-9700k. I popped it in this afternoon. THis was a little painful but otherwise not particularly hard. Turning on the computer gave me some sort of error related to a USB connection; I've had this sometimes on startup or shutdown, but the computer otherwise works fine. At any rate, restarting the computer booted just fine, both into BIOS and Windows 10. I decided to leave all BIOS settings at their default, and did some Prime95, which went by fi…

Hi Folks, I currently have the following HDMI connections to my GTX1080Ti. 1) Samsung 32" 2560x1440 2) Asus 27" 1920x1080 3) elgato HD capture card plugged into second computer for streaming 1920x1080 When displaying P3D on screen 1 I only get a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. Any ideas why P3D will not display 2560x1440 Thanks S

I'm looking for ways to display pre-recorded 3D VR .fsr files subsequently on a 3D monitor and wondered if users had any experience in doing this?

I returned my EZdoc to Flight1 after three days of frustration I will not elaborate on. To bring back my default cameras I reinstalled P3DV4 client, deleted the camera,cfg and let P3DV4.5 rebuild it. That seemed to work fine bringing back my default cameras except the wing views in my addon aircraft,(PMDG, Leonardo etc.). Does anyone have ant advice on how to restore all my aircraft position cameras without doing a complete reinstall? I have been using OPUS FSI camera for years with out problems but EZdoc had to wipe out my defaults. I guess I may just have to reinstall the aircraft. Thanks to all in advance for any help.

When I select "Time Preview" the panel does not appear. Before it went wrong I had dragged the "Time Preview" window onto my second monitor. I closed down with the window still open on my second monitor and when I started again I noticed that it was not showing when selected. Any ideas?? P3D v4.4 Clive Alexander

Hi. I have the Aerosoft Airbus and I'm working with it with GSX. I've found that they have small problems when I'm boarding the cargo and people, and the values in the MCDU4. There are times if I just use the GSX menu, it all works, but times, like in the attached, where it doesn't - and I end up not being able to load anything BUT fuel. (GSX shows people and cargo running, but the MCDU4 remain at 0). So, I've tried using the buttons in the MCDU4 to board passengers, and got nothing - same with the GSX request.
