FS2CREW: LEVEL-D 767 (FSX Voice Control)

Hi thereMaybe it was covered already but I cant find anything.So far the Voice Commander is running fine with my LVLD 767, even with winglets.. Just one thing that happen on every flight since a couple weeks: The FO will not start the left engine. I give the command and nothing happens, I have to start myself. RH works flawless...Im running FSX on a WIN 7 Ultimate 64bit System...Any ideas?Regards Simon

I had a situation occur tonight and thought I'd share it.At engine start step I order #1 engine start and no problems, then I order #2 engine start but I forgot to flip the fuel cutoff to ON.Seeing that I wasn't really paying attention I call for "After Start Checklist" and the FO turns off the APU amongst his/her other duties.I, for the life of me, could not get #2 engine to start, tried all manual start steps, nogo. Ended up having to restart FSX.Is it normal that the FO will go ahead and do his/her checklist even though there is a no-start situation?I just wanted to FYI, in case a patch is planned in the future this situation can be kept in the loop.Just to clarify, I'…

Hi,after installing windows 7 sp1 fs2crew will not work anymore. In the SP is a change in the engine. I have made a system recovery so that SP1 is not longer installed and everything works now nice. Is it possible to get an update for Fs2crew that it works with the SP. Best regardsChristian

Hello Bryan!I am using FS2Crew VC for LevelD almost from the first Day it was available and I am getting more and more familiar with it (especially the last 3 month's since I have my new PC).Still, some minor things happen on most (not all!) of my flights and I dont know why:1) When I command "Gear up", the FO is responding with "gear up" but he doesnt move the lever, so finally i have to do it(Is it somehow possible that this has something to do with my saved panel state which I use at startup at the Gate? Of course when saved Gear was DWN)2) Sometimes the Pushback doesnt stop, (I guess you are aware of that, because you mention it in the manual). Maybe its a coincidence…

Dear Bryan,I have being using the voice commander quite a while without any problems.Everithing was perfect! Couple of days ago I bought a head set and tried to use it and it didn't work at all, even after I practiced the speech. SInce them, it never worked again even when a switched to the old way of doing it, such as using the mike of my keyboard and the old Koss headphone. I uninstall it lots of times and installed it again and i got no results. MOst of the time the program doesn't catch my words att all. Could you help on this matter? Evaristo

Hey Bryan,Happy new year!I got some decent mic-time with the LDS-763 and FS2Crew voice edition over my Holiday break and I whish to make a very small request.If you ever had the code open again, could I ask that you possibly move the de-activation of the red beacon light to NOT happen until I call for the shutdown checklist? Currently it happens (IIRC) right after I hit the fuel cutoff switches. With the current implemntation, the N1 gauges are still at about 15% when the beacon is turned off and this is generating a penalty in my FS Flight Keeper logger. Bryan,first of all let me thank you in an absolutely brilliant piece of software interaction with the good old trusted B767. I've used the old fs2crew programs for ages but this has certainly pushed the level of realism up a notch or three!Unfortunately, there is always one isn't there :( I use TOPCAT to configure my BA and Thomson liveries aircrafts. However, the weight and balance details given by fs2crew loadsheets etc do not coincide with what the W&B actually are according to TOPCAT and my FMC.Is there something else I should be doing to get fs2crew to accept my BA & Thomson aircraft as everything else works absolutely superb.Thanks again.Willie Goldie

Hello,My FO is doing nothing on the OH panel or MCP panel? Ex. When I command him to "set speed 220" or "LNAV", speech is recognized in the "green" text...nothing happens on the MCP? the same goes for OH panel? or whenever i give him ex."after take-off checklist" or any "checklist"....nothing???He calls V speed at 40knts, although they are set in the FMS correctly?The only thing that he does correctly is flaps up-down, gear down...but not up:-)I have read the manual several times & searched this forum, also done the voicetraning, and several flights with him.Would really like this to work:) any help appreciated :( I have WindowsXP,FS9, Regards/R

Hi can you help me please. I have built a flight sim cockpit which uses multiple monitors with customised .gau files to move and shape the gauges to different monitors. Probably because of this I can't start FS2crew by clicking on the VSI gauge . Is there another way to start FS2crew . I've re-installed FS2crew and checked the pane.cfg file and this appears to have all the correct entries and pointers to the FS2crew files. Hi,Before starting I just wanted to say what an excellent piece of software you have created. My problem appears when I attempt to land in an airport that has an elevation higher than normal (8,000 feet), the majority of the Fs2Crew procedures are created to land almost in MSL. So when I try to do an Approach check at 15,000 feet nothing happens and the rest of the process can't be completed. At the end I have to approach, land, taxi and shut off without the fs2crew voice commander help.I don't know if I'm doing something wrong (let's hope) but I just wanted to know how can I change this situation.Thank You very much, and have a nice day.PS: Good Flights

When running the Preflights Events, #44, requesting the ZFW, it is always wrong, the response is 292,747. It should be 244.7. Then when the load sheet arrives, it also states 292.747 and the stabilizer setting is always a lot higher then what is is from the LD 767 Config. Manager. Is this the way it is or should it report the correct ZFW? If I try to enter the ZFW from Voice commander into the cdu, I get an error.Thanks,Gnacino

I have a couple of questions1) The manual says that when a non precision approach (VOR, circling etc) is performed, then the MDA should be set to the text box in the control panel. In this case should the MDA orange bug in the altimeter be left to zero? I did that in a specific approach (with FMC fully progammed) and nothing happened. What is different when setting the MDA in control panel?2) In the manual, you provide a couple of flows, including a non precision approach. After starting pushback, it sounds like someone is knocking insistently on the cockpit door. It happens three or four times and then stops. I try saying "come in," "yes," etc. but nothing happens. Am I missing something or is this a terrorist attempting entry ;-> ?

I cannot engage either the hard mute or the soft mute. On the soft mute, I have tried different keys and saved them via the Voice Commander config and they do not work. The soft mute situation, I select the HM button on the main panel and the "M" flashes on the display, but the program still picks up what I say, cause I get the green bar on top. You specify on page21 o f the manuel to select this button for the hard mute but on page 22, you state to left click on "LK" button. I am asumming that is a mistake. I have your latest update and am running FSX on a Vista Home Premium 32 bit, and I have SP1 & 2 on FSX.Thanks,Gnacino

Can the 767 voice commander be used on the default FSX 737? I thought I saw it mentioned somewere, but could not find anthing in the manuel. If so, is it just a matter of putting the proper gauges in the panel cfg? Your program is so addicting and the Level D is so awesome thhaat it is the only ac I've been flying since I bought it. I would like to fly some of my other ac but now that I've got a virtual FO, it would be strange not going thru all the flows with him.Thanks,Gnacino

hi every1 i need help from u all whenever i use my Level-D 767 Voice Commander for FSX every thing is moving fine from the departure to the descent but whenever i am preparing to land on a ils airport my app button on the level-d panel does not work even when i press on the button an whenever i pilot the level-d without the (fs2crewlvld) it is working fine so i would like to know is there any solution to this plz an thx in advance!!!!

I have Flight Simulator X on Windows Vista 32Bit, 4GB Ram, Core 2 Duo 2.13GHz. Whenever I'm ready to start the before start checklist I say "Before start checklist." And the copilot says "Windows." I say "Closed and locked" and he keeps saying "Wing anti ice off," multiple times. When I use the UK or EU voices it says "Wipers off," "Wipers low," "Wipers medium," or "Wipers high." I don't know how to fix this and I can't skip to the next thing in the checklist the copilot just keeps saying the same thing over and over again. Thanks,Alex.

Bryan, thanks for making such an awesome product. After struggling for days with whether I'd buy this version or the 747 one, I decided I'd go with the 767 for now and wait on the other, simply because I fly the 767 more and am more familiar with it. Hi...Tried to launch the FS2Crew 2010 Level-D 767 and once I click on the gauge, MS FSX crashes to desktop (fatal error)I have both SP1 and SP2 installed for MS FSX...Re-ran everything I could possibly think of but to no avail...Did I forget something?
