FS2CREW: LEVEL-D 767 (FSX Voice Control)

Hi Bryan hope you're good,Having a few teething issues after finally moving over to FSX. One is with fs2crew and voice recognition. Was initially working after installing, only the recognition was a little dodgy as I hadn't run the training yet. So after running through the MS voice training, when opening the main fs2crew panel, the "voice" button is now turned off and will not illuminate if I press it. Obviously the voice recog doesn't work either.Have tried resetting the cfg's as well as a clean install of fs2crew, but nothing seems to be able to get the voice engine going again. The only thing that changed was that I performed the Microsoft voice training sequence, so …

I've searched all over and can't find anyone else that has had this problem.I installed fs2crew voice commander for the level D, but now when I try to select that aircraft i get an error message saying "Flight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft of software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled. File: FS2Crew2010/Versions/LDS767/Gauges/FS2CrewLDS767.GAU"I've tried uninstalling the old fs2crew I had, and then the leveld plane altogether and reinstalled everything and I still get the error. Hi guys,I am new on this forum. First of all.... what a great addon for the also great LevelD 767! I was really surprised how well it worked! Is it possible somehow to edit the config files from FS2Crew so I can make my own read and do checklists? (different companies use different checklists, flows, etc). When I do the load configuration and then I change COMM 2 to 130.65 and "requesting zero fuel weight" The numbers are way different. The configuration was set to 235, 000 lbs and the voice with the fuel sheet said 292,000. Is this suppose to happen?

Hello BryanAny reason why when I select 24 feet as my push-back distance,and a 90 degree turn,I get pushed back far too much? Happened to me at a Heavy gate at HKJK.I was pushed back almost into the terminal building when all I wanted due to aircraft parked behind was make a short tail to the right turn.Thanks.

I load up FSX and start the 45 min rundown. I speak the commands but don't hear anything back. The fuel sheet arrives and PCS sheet arrives. I still hear nothing but when I pause the game all the replies play. Like the Fuel sheet replied back with here is your fuel sheet. I said before start checklist and nothing was said. I hit pause and the FO started calling out the checklist. I haven't had a problem with this until now. Any reason why the messges are coming back only when the game is paused? I also push the ground request on the overhead panel and from the drop down menu and nothing happens

Lately several times during each flight the copilot will call for N1, even when I'm in cruise, at altitude and in VNAV. I switch back to VNAV and he calls for N1 again. Looked through the forum but couldn't find any answers. Would appreciate your help. I'm sure I am doing something wrong.Jeff EvenRocklin, CA, USA

When I open up the game it comes up and says error Level-D 767 file NOT FOUND. The simobjects/airplanes/LVLD_B767/panel/panel.cfg seems to be missing. I wan't to fly with the software but it won't let me. What do I need to do to get it working properly?

HiI have the view selector panel from John Sanders [vsplvd.zip] 'm having trouble installing it. On the Level D forum for it there is a panel CFG that is for the FS2Crew Button version. Can somebody that uses the VSP and FS2Crew Voice Commander paste the panel cfg they use ?thanks Lee

Start off with the "I love the product" because, well, I do...it along with Radar Contact make for a great flight sim experience...though if you and the RC people could hook up your products without a needing YAP (Yet Another Product) you would get no objections from me...BUT that is not the intention of this post. Do you have any script or any way to interface with the speech engine in Windows in order to specifically train the engine for the phrases used in FS2Crew? As an example for the life of me, my FO does not understand the words "ON" and "FLAPS n" where n is the degree of flaps. I'm not sure why I'm having trouble aligning the IRS. I looked at the way the realism looks on page 17 of the manual, and I'm using the FS2Crew Level-D 767 FSX Panel State. I'm following the provided check list, and I'm able to set the FMC, but the IRS align keeps flashing after the time runs out. Any Idea why?

I'm sure you guys had a reason for establishing the panel state the way you did, but I like to start completely cold and dark. Why is the panel state you guys supplied not completely cold and dark, and if I do start with a complete cold and dark state, would there be a problem running FS2Crew?

I just got this program a few days ago, and I'm trying to get use to it. So far I'm flowing through the 1st few check list just fine. However, I'm stumped when it comes to the push back procedure. I can't get the program to speak to the ground crew for push back, and if I try to do it the old fashion way with Level-D's interface, it crashes to desktop.

After load an update from FSX Boster I cant load FS2Crew. when I select the vertical speed to start... it tries to load then says fatal error must restart FSX. Any help?Windows 7 ..64 bit.Thanks, Jim.

So, can I use for the "soft mute" option the same button I'm using for online radio transmissions? My logic is very simple: when I press online button the soft mute function is being automatically activated and the FO doesn't "hear" what I'm saying. My online PTT button is set through FSUIPC.2. I love the fact that you included a panel state to import for pre-cockpit prep, but I've noticed that even if I manually set options in the LVLD realism and carrier options, your import panel file resets things such as the EADI display style (I prefer Standard but your panel state always sets it to speedtape).Is there a way to change what LVLD realism options are changed by default when I import the FS2Crew panel state?

I recently installed the voice recognition software for the Level D 767. In following your documentation for the FS2 Crew setup it recommends changing some settings in the Level d preferences menu. When I click on the Level D preferences menu nothing happens. when I contacted the Level D forum they suggested that the problem may be caused by the FS2Crew software. Have you encountered this before?Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Bryan,Disregard Vista above, I was getting confused!I installed the latest Windows 7 64 bit SP1 update yesterday and tried a flight on FSX this morning.Everything loaded ok until I started voice commander for the B767. It loaded but when I try and change the size of the windows, everything locks up and FSX has to close.Is there any way around this please.ThanksWillie G

Just encountered the FO problem that others had a problem with. I never really used the product before the service pack as I was away, so never had the problem there, but as I understand it, it was supposed to be fixed with SP1?I've actually put in about ten flights over the last few days and this is the first time I've seen the issue. Notably the only thing that I did differently on this flight was to give the command for the FO to set 60% N1. After this he called 80kts/V1/Vr, but then went into the check loop after rotation.
