Any ideas as to why this happens? My flying buddy has the Bonanza, is using a stock paint. It only happens with the F33. Weird or what!I might add that I also have the Bonanza :(

The immediate nose drop when the wheels hit the ground seems so pronounced. I fly a lot in real Cherokee 140's and it"s easy to keep the nosewheel off the ground if you have done a soft landing. The F33 nose seems to drop no matter what speed or degree of touchdown impact. It's odd considering there is so much elevator authority at slow speeds. This is quite unlike the aeilron aurthority which gets very mushy at slow speeds in the F33. Are there any Bonanza pilots that know if the landing characteristics are right?I'm enjoying the airplane though. I'm sure I'll be flying this one for a long time.

I erroneously posted this problem on the RealityXP forum instead of here where it probably belongs. Bert has already tried to help me but there is still something "out of whack".Using the One Yoke option all the "old" 3D knobs are there to interfere with the Reality "N" and "T" gauges as well as the GNS 430. I don't believe I switched any of the 3 files and certainly didn't rename any of them. Is there some way to replace the original files in the One Yoke folder just in case I did goof it up?I love the Bonanza or wouldn't spend so much time on this project.

I need a little help getting the RealityXP Flightline T gauges into my panel. Specifically can anyone tell me why I'm getting that black line just to the left of the vertical speed indicator? I thought maybe one of my gauges was too wide but nothing I do seems to help. Maybe Bert or someone can post their panel.cfg for me.

Greetings, I have been enoying the bonanza a lot! I like going through the checklists and starting it from cold and dark. However the fuel selector kind of confuses me, hopefully I can explain my issue effectively.Scenario 1. I load the aircraft in FSX in "default" mode. The engines is running and the aircraft is ready to go! In this situation, the fuel selector loads in the "off" posistion, yet the engine is running fine. If I execute my flight without touching the fuel selector, it pulls from both tanks equally and everything is hunky dory. If I play with the selector at all this falls apart... As expected, when I move it to the "right" selection, it pulls fr…

Now that I have a machine that can adequately run FSX, I am starting to enjoy the VC-only cockpits. Is there a way, once I have found settings I like for a particular view, to hard code those settings into the config file? I guess the question really is where can I go view the custom settings in order to make the config updates. Thanks!Bruce Riggs KADS

Hello! I have two questions and a slight gripe about the bonanza:1. How do you toggle between the nav1 and the nav2 radio as the "active" one for the AP and the HSI (I couldn't find a switch or nothing).2. On the RMI there are two little buttons at the bottom, they each seem to have a "in" and "out" setting. there two way arrows on them, presumably corresponding with the ADF 1 and 2 radios. What is function of these buttons? and my one "gripe"The doors on my aircraft won't stay open, when I nit the "Shift + E" keys the door will open and then slam back shut. This is on the ground with the plane completely shut down. Any ideas what I'm doin worng or how to fix …

Just wondered if some kind repainter would do a repaint of the Carenado F-33 Bonanza in this scheme - its the only F-33 in NZ? Have been holding out buying the F-33 until the minor bugs were sorted. The only other thing holding me back before purchasing was the lack of a NZ reg. ..or maybe a ficticious NZ reg on a default paint. Thanks in advance. :( Ive tried doing some repainting myself but have been a complete failure so far. :(

From all the specs I read, the takeoff lenght is 1002ft but at 3w5 its taking almost the whole runway (2609ft) to get airborn. What are the tweaks to change to correct this in the config file. I remember something along the lines of parasite drag scalar and thrust on the propeller. What values are you guys using?

Hi folks, I've just playing around with panel design...For 2D people, what do you think? If Carenado don't mind I could share this little contribution for FS community. This is work in progress, so expect to release in some days. Will do an "original" and a Reality XP (GNS) version too.Cheers

I just finally got around to adding all of the .XML corrections you guys have come up with, and happily now the RMI works as it should, as does the EGT and the HDG bug. When SP1 came out it changed the clock to GMT as opposed to local time. I liked that better, but SP2 changed it back to local time. Could someone tell me exactly what line in the clock file I need to change to make it GMT?Bill

Any chance we might get a model with tip tanks? One of our club F33's has them (http://www.rfcdallas.com/photos/aircraft/default.asp) - also, if anyone would like to try their hand at a repaint of N4416W, I would be grateful! I need to finally dig in and figure out this repainting business :)Thanks,Bruce RiggsKADS

Good evening gents, I've been working on improving the default F33A with HD textures. I have started a 'developers thread' over at Aussiex (www.aussiex.org) then navigate to the 'paint and aeroplane alley'. http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=5697Cheers,Butch

In Virginia (USA) you can get an automobile license plate for just about anything. I recently purchased a new car, so I decided it was time for a new tag and this is what I got.

Since a service pak 3 has not been confimred, I have a replacement file that corrects the spacing on the window decal lettering. I've also added 'decal effect' which was not present on the orignial. See my original post from a few weeks back for pics. I'm new at this and not sure how to upload a file which can then be downloaded.

The new custom feature to totally clear up the windows works so well, that I would like to try it on some of my other addons. Does anyone know where the file is located and which file is replaced with the .exe program? I see some date changes for the folders but I can't ID any specific file that was changed. It sure works great for the F33a, though.I have a couple of nice addons with terrible window visability that I wish I could try this fix on.Thanks.Ray
