F33 Bonanza for FSX

  1. Wow! First of all the sound is wonderful. I turned the headphones up and felt like I was starting up the real thing. I've read the issues on the forum, but all that aside, I'm very impressed. Comparing it to other Carenado planes..it's even better. The frame rates on my pretty low level system were fine, and with Track IR on and ASE giving me lots of clouds it was just as smooth as real life. I installed my RXP GNS430, and that takes care of the VC panel GPS not reflecting what the pop up version is doing. The Bonanza has always been my favorite plane, and this one more than makes up for the loss of the Dreamfleet A36 that went by the wayside when I stopped flying F…

I found two (more) errors in the Bononza:1. This seems like a bad edit, where you see too much of the texture around the artificial horizon:2. Not only the clickspots in the GPS are missing or wrong (amongst others), but when you go to the flightplan, the line that should tell you at which point of the plan you are, is way off, below the screen:

Hi, you have given us this wonderful new plane, the Bonanza. And you have also provided two modelswithout 3d knobs, for VC customization. This is great, and I thank you! However, the radio stack is pre-defined and cut into separate slices so that we cannot put in theradios that we might want to install. Is there any way that you could provide us with a model variantthat has the radio stack as one continuous addressable space, so that we can install both full height and half height radios?

If you would like the tail light to be positioned on the airplane, rather than trailing behind, you can make the following adjustment in the aircraft.cfg file.light.2 = 3, -19.05, 0.0, 1.8, fx_navwhiefetres,

I guess I'll be the first one to point out things I found unrealistic or just plain wrong.1) The takeoff distance is way off. This is probably the worst thing. Everywhere online says a takeoff run of 1000-1250 feet is realistic for the F33. The best I can get is 2400.2) The flaps cause far too much drag. I've had to reduce the flaps' drag scalar by .6 and it still isn't right. 3) The plane is way too sensitive on the pitch axis. It feels more like an aerobatic aircraft than GA. The roll and yaw axis are fine though.4) The elevator trim is also too sensitive. It is very difficult to trim the aircraft properly because of it.I'll add to the list if I find anything els…

I can't get them to show up. I bring up the menu with Shif-5 and select the wheel chocks and pitot covers but they don't appear. The luggage appears fine. I've tried with the parking brake on and off, engine on and off. Doesn't make a difference. Thanks,Jim

After fooling around with the GPS and getting very frustrated I have some questions...1. Is it correct that the COM on the GPS doesn't work? According to the manual I should be able to press on the left knob (PUSH C/V), but I just can't and I am stuck with the NAV...2. I can only find one clickspot (a + on the top right) on the right knob (PUSH CRSR). With that one clickspot I can use the mouse wheel to switch between the main NAV, WPT and NRST pages, but I can't change subpages in those categories. Should there be more clickspots and if not, how can I acces the subpages?!?I also find I often have to search for the clickspots: they are very small and on odd places very of…

Guys,I'm having a problem with the GPS screen not showing in the VC, i.e. plain black like it was turned off. I confirmed this after I deleted my fsx.cfg and had the aircraft started up once I hit "fly now". Confirmed that all power was on and avionics switch ticked on, GPS opened up to the 2D separate panel and was indeed powered on. Running full-screen in DX9 mode. Scratching my head here... - Blake

Has anyone else tried flying at dusk when the panel lights come on? All my gauges become static and some are missing all together. The autopilot is blank and the buttons can't be pressed, the OAT gauge is black, the GPS has a genaroc image on it. Engine monitor is blank and all the switches dissapear! When I turn off the panel lights all goes back to normal.Edit. Ok it was my fault I think, sometimes when I fly for a couple hours or so, when I land i find that I get some missing buildings, textures, and so on. and I quess it corrupted the panel. I restarted the sim and all was good!
