Since I installed the Bonanza, I haven't been able to complete a flight with it. FSX just quits or I get a BSOD. Now this may be just bad luck, but I wondered if anyone else is having stability issues with the Bonanza. If I am the only one, I know it must be something with my system (even though I didn't change a thing...).

I took a break from scenery tonight to noodle around with the Bonanza a little. There was this great Jaguar Edition livery that came up on airliners.net a couple of times in various incarnations, and I thought it'd look pretty slick on the F33 as well. Maybe a tiny bit of artistic license was taken, but I like it so far. I think maybe the wings need some stripes or detailing of some sort. If it's okay with Carenado, I'm reupholstering the interior to match the outside, too.

Hi there. I was wondering if somebody would be willing to give this paint a shot. I'd be really grateful as it is the only F33A in Scotland. Cheers. You can find pictures at airliners.net by searching for Beech Bonanza G-BTZA.

    1. When I switch views on the NAV page, the plane (and 'FPL-line') suddenly is somewhere else. Weird.NAV page 1:NAV page 2:2. When I go to the WPT page, it shows a waypoint which seems random...? On other planes (including a few Carenado ones) the WPT page shows you the departure airport by default. When you look at my WPT page......you will see it has nothing to do with my flightplan:Apart from that, I can't change the shown airport because I can't enable the cursor: aynone knows how to enable the cursor on this GNS?Sorry for posting only problems, but hey, there just are problems with this plane (still can't switch between NAV and COM on the GNS). And btw I don't know w…

First I wish to say how much I love the Lufthansa Training Center Bonanza!I find it very difficult to fly a DME arc without having VOR2 set to the RMI. Carenado, could you please make this possible?Thank you,Michael

A few quick shots of the Bonanza in club colors :-)A few more hours work to add some dirt in the wheel wells and on the landing gear and she is good to go. I plan to make an aluminum version that I will put up for download for all us polished aluminum fans. :-)

Before SP2 I had to cruise at 23 square in order not to overshoot 160 too much, but after SP2 even at 25 square the Bonanza is struggling to get to 150, which she never really reaches. Performance has gone down a lot. Is this normal/realistic or did something go wrong with SP2...?BTW This is the last time I buy a Carenado plane right after the release, because I don't like having to get used to all those changes in behaviour all the time (had the same with the C185F), just as I don't like all those things not working well. Or not getting answers or even reactions from Carenado to all my questions. I don't like payware beta's. Lesson learned.

Thanks Carenado for the update SP1 and SP2.Only issues remaining for me is that the RMI is not switchable to show VORsand the ADF box 2 is above ADF box 1. Nice if these could be reversed. (Lower box sets single needle on RMI and upper box selects double needle)AVSS - you cannot select an altitude, select ALT on AP and continue climb to that altitude. Pressing ALT changes AVSS to whatever altitude you are passing at the time.Did a quick circuit and the aircraft feels 'right', no excessive nose up on approach anymore, there is a realistic feel to the flap extension and airspeed bleed with flaps appears very good.Thank youGary

Ok-I may be biased because I owned one (well the early version) for 11 years and put about 800 hours in it. Some first impressions..The attention to outside detail is amazing!Looking at the landing gear-the wire going to the landing light on the nose wheel, the placard, the struts, grease drippings and bug splats, the grey ash on the exhaust pipes at the bottom, chipped paint on the wheel wells-the cotter pins on the main gear-all is hugely familiar from spending hours cleaning an polishing and sometimes repairing! Every rivet is where it is supposed to be...the antennas are perfect as are the writing on the tires-the glass is perfectly colored.I could go on and on but th…

We have just released a service pack 1 for our F33A Bonanza FSX.This package:- Replaces some panel textures to make letters readable.- Enlarges some clickable areas of GNS430 buttons.- Reduces the drag effect on flaps.- Fixes the flaps knob positions.- Adjusts flight dynamics (specially: roll and pitch effects and takeoff run distance).- Adjusts attitude indicator in the VC.- Illuminates one of the fuel flow screen.- Adjusts the rear navigation light. If you prefer, just download again the package from the link you got after your purchase. You don't need this patch if you downloaded the package after May 5th, 2010 1600 GMT.http://www.carenado.com/ecommerce/links.php3' targe…

If you have less than perfect eyesight, like me, you can improve the character sizein the VS gauge, so you can better see if it is indicating ft or ft/min...To do this, open up the BonF33.cab file and double the sizeof the vs_ft and vs_ftmin.bmp files as well as adjusting the position of thecharacter strings in the VS.xml file to <Element> <Position X="260" Y="180" />
