I am sorry to post this here, it is not directly related with PMDG products but i remember reading here a solution for this problem a while back. I have used the search function with no success.I am getting the "send report to microsoft" crash upon exiting FS9, it is very anoying. As i recall the solution implied to delete a couple of FS9 files that are causing the trouble because they are in some kind of bad state. I dont remember which files these are.Thanks,mak.

Just want to say a massive thank you to PMDG for getting me returned to using the 737 after losing all trace of the product after a hard drive failure.Can't wait to get flying in her again :)Graham

I am gettin a little P.O... Why?Well #1 I cant open and close the Baggage and loading doors, and the stairs dont work on the 737...Perhaps I am doing somethin wrong?I have tryed the concord visor extend/rectract fully key mapping to CTRL+F9 and CTRL+F10, that didn't work... so I tryed CTRL+SHIFT+EAnd CTRL+SHIFT+R and that does not seem to work either.... any other ideas?And I just cant seem to open the dang baggage doors...I push Shift+E then imediatly push 2... the main exit opens... no matter how fast I do it, just wont open....Why they didnt map the doors to the wing fold and unfold command is beyond me...I really like this plane,but I am starting to get fustrated...l…

I did a flight today across Colorado, and my prop RPM gauge was inoperable...I have all system failures OFF, so I know thats not it...it would not respond to any throttle movements...anyone else have this problem, I flew by monitoring fuel flow instead. Cause y'all have cooked up a dandy with the new B1900D!!!First off, I run an antiquated system -- Dell XPS-500(Mhz) PIII with 640mb RAM and a GeForce 2 Ultra(64mb RAM) -- on FS2002, and only with severe trepidation did I spring for the 1900.All I can say is MY GAWD!!!!! She runs beautifully in the full VC and Cabin mode, handles like a dream, and the visuals are absolutely exquisite.I tend to run with all the visual sliders maxed except for AI at 50%, clouds at 40% and water at the detail level. and I was able to fly her and, more importantly, land her with no trouble -- from the VC.Don't know how y'all managed to marry great performance with exceptional visuals in this d…

Hi. I'm very tempted to buy, but have two questions.First, does the B1900D have an FMC? Any sort of RNAV? Second, is this product a much different experience from flying the default King Air?Thanks,Roger P.

I was very hopeful about the 1900 sound. It does have an awesome buzz and is very responsive to input, mirroring the gauges, but it seems to go to flight idle sound too early. On final, I reduce power, and advance the props for possible go around, and it just seems to be too low when targeting Vref, etc. Plus, there is no sound differences for prop rpm changes. One of the most wonderful sounds is putting a King Air into beta while taxiing to moderate speed. Or, advancing prop on final, which should theoretically slow the plane down a bit if the throttle is pulled back, due to increased drag. First off, I love the aircraft, so don't take this as a complaint.:-) This issue surfaces in most aircraft I fly in FS, not just this one. The panel lighting seems a bit too bright. Panel lighting is usually very dim when flying at night as other R/W pilots can attest to. I'm not sure how the 1900 is in real life, but it would be nice to be able to have the gauges backlit without the blue floodlight. It would be great to have the floodlight operate separately from the backlit gauges for use during preflight. Not sure if there is an easy way to do this or if it is possible to tone down the blue. Just a small suggestion, otherwise keep up the fantastic work!! Eric

Can anybody tell me what happened? I just purchased and installed the 1900 and I tried to take it for a test flight but FS will not start!!! I had problems with the downloaded file...it was named with two extensions (exe.zip), so I finally changed the extension name, unzipped and installed it. Now I get the "Microsoft Flight Simulator has encountered a problem and needs to close...." routine when I try to start the program. What gives?

I really like the look of the JL2 in the 1900D. What is peoples opinon on adding these?

Hello...I've bought the 1900D, excellent aircraft btw, BUT...on the gauge, when I switch to 1600x1200 full screen res, I can't read the HDG on the display.One screenshot was taken when in windowed mode, window size around 1024x960 and another one was taken full screen 1600x1200. Also when I maximize the FS window to my desktop size, I get those ugly fonts. In aka-1280x960 window, they are fine.Anyone know solution to this? PMDG, Two questions for you, first, you wouldn't by any chance be entertaining the idea of doing a 757 or 767 in the near future, I know you did it with the fly! and fly! 2 series, but those two planes are my favorite so I just had to ask. Second question, this really isn't for PMDG, but for anyone who can help. I download the AWACS from the FS 2002 section (because there are no AWACS for 2004) but when you try to use the aircraft, the engines are missing and of course the radar dome is missing. So my question is, is there any way to fix that or are there any programs out there that will convert 2002 aircraft to fs 2004?ThanksJeff USAF

I noticed something as I was looking into the cockpit, is it just me or is the pilot and co-pilot, Kirk and Spock? Or do these guys just have an uncanny resemblence?

I know from searching the forums that Aerosoft is handling the cd sales, which is what I'd have to be using because the PMDG download sales, last I checked, did not allow for cash or money order snail-mail options.So, I looked around the Aerosoft site, and lo and behond, it seems that overseas customers (myself being in Canada) can only purchase with a selection of credit cards, so I'm right back where I started from.....So... Am I misreading Aerosoft's policies on payment options (I can't really find a clear version of their payment options)? Otherwise, how might I go about purchasing the 737NG by snailmailing a money order or just plain cash?
