Hello all Got the Sim running at 40FPS but moving the hat button and it is jerky mean not smooth at all ...kind of annoying (-: Any ideas / thoughts Cheers Yair

Hi Just starting to get to grip with the utility and have managed to make some decent cockpit views. There is just one issue that I cannot seem to figure out ... If I set a 'PIC Camera' the glareshield/instruments all seem to be sort of tilted, if that makes sense? For example if in the A320 the underneath of the glareshield seems to partly obscure the landing gear lights? https://ibb.co/fGCMXF Any help, appreciated :)

...with the latest XP11 update, and the latest version of the Aerobask Eclipse 550 NG (v1.0.40) XP11 crashes trying to load in this version of the plane. I deleted this latest version and replaced it with my back-up copy of the version I had been running with...and no XP11 crash. It loads into the cockpit. So, no joy, with the latest release of the 550, upon the .org. Post Edit: It seems that the 550 NG is crashing the latest beta...they advise to roll back to the stable .r2, if you wanna fly this plane, until things are sorted out....

Good evening..I will try and be brief. I have two airports in XP11. KVYS and 06C...the latter is a one runway (11/29) with the first having two intersecting runways (18/36 & 7/25). I understand WED and have added taxing ways and all the necessary components. I get a satisfactory validation at both. I started the sim and see a running plane but it disappears. Never does it get off the ramp to a taxiway. First questions; Does XP allow AI traffic at ALL airports or does the algorithms dictate other wise. And does XP grab the AI plane(s) when added in the configuration screen or is that a misnomer? I appreciate any suggestion.

Now that we see what DTG has pushed into their flight simulator engine (TrueSky), I'm just wondering if the X-plane engine has that option. For example, this from UNIGINE, which looks promising and realistic. Could this be possible to get into X-plane? Cheers Sebastian

Hi all, I was poking around yesterday and saw and interface which executed many of the same rendering settings as well as traffic options. It was a more recent user interface and not the one I have tried previously which was by Forkboy. Anyone seen this one? I should have book marked it dang!! Bob

I have been thinking for a while of getting Prepar3d as well a Xplane. I have been an Xplane user since version 9 and also have 10 and 11 which I use all the time. I have a modest amount of payware aircraft and I have no problems with XPlane at all. I particularly like all the community material including airports and utilities, many of which are free. I like the regular updates, the forums, and everything else. In short, I enjoy XP. However, I would also like to try something different as well, just for variety., but I have a limited budget and would really want to keep any available expenditure to Xplane, and continue with this as my primary sim. Last week, I dumped XP10 off of my system. Yesterday, FSX in its entirety, bit the dust..., and to both of them..."bye-bye, bye-bye!" Giving FSX the boot, gave me 500 clean GB's back on my C: drive. Gotta love that! XP11 rocks as my main flirt,...and I have P3D v3.4 for the days I want to ORBX.... :) Flight sim life is good.

Plane Maker Carenado CT210M I'm trying to use Plane Maker to make the panel look like the one in my real plane but all I get when I open the Carenado plane is a blank 2D and 3D panel. I've successfully moved instruments around on other planes (standard planes that came with X-Plane). Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone found a moving map that works over a network in XP11? Some people insist on saying that Plan-G works, but thats ONLY true if there's already a database built from XP10

See topic title. I constantly zoom in or out whenever I want to do something in the VC, also because I use TrackIR and my view isn't totally steady. I can't find any mouse options anywhere.

If you want them gone, just use Plane Maker, and under Engines, Dirty Exhaust , set the rating to .001 That will give you the heat shimmer, but no corny black puff balls...that looks like the engine has indigestion. LOLOLOL! That gets rid of it. You need to do this for every plane that you want them gone...

Hi. I just purchased XP11 along with an SSD for it to try as an alternative to P3D which I have been using. I'm wondering if there are any ready-to-go large-area scenery options similar to ORBX or Ultimate Terrain available for XP11. It seems that mostly what I see people using is Ortho4XP which seems pretty much like a do-it-yourself option which I don't have the time or inclination to do. This has somewhat disillusioned me and don't know now whether I will even try XP. I probably should have researched this a little more first, but I guess I just assumed there would be something and hopefully, maybe there is. Thanks Jeff Smith

Ok I know Gulfstream wont allow a decent authorized aircraft, what about Dassault? Same issue? Id really like a nice long range bizjet for XP11. Looking for in-depth systems and modeling. I have done some searching, but haven't found anything that jumped out at me (though my work network prevents its own obstacles as well). Sorry, 7X or 8X (miss-type in title)

Ive always been a PC person. However, my company just got me a new 27" Imac with 5k Retina display for work. Its a beautiful looking computer and seems plenty fast. The display is amazing and makes the 1920*1080 27" on my PC look like garbage in comparison. (and I use to think it was awesome). I would love to install the the X-plane demo on it just to see how it would look, but I think they might frown at that, so Ill refrain. I dont think X-plane would run well at this resolution, but curious if it would look better or worse. Looking at the specs of this computer, its an i5 with a 2GB radeon card. I just upgraded my PC video card to a 4GB and saw a huge difference. …

Can you enter a flight plan (XP11 default format) into the Zibo FMS? If so...what's the procedure, please... If not, is there a conversion program out there to allow you to? Thanks a bunch. Mitch
