This is an "old" (about 10 months) video, but to my knowledge has not been posted in this section of Avsim ... and its still a nice "showcase" for some of X-Plane 10 "qualities": The scenery can be found here (donwationware!): http://www.alpilotx.net/downloads/x-plane-10-new-zealand-pro/

As most of the P3Dv2 videos I've seen are rather short and show-case specific things, they don't really demonstrate what you will typically seen when flying. I decided to simply record some normal flying... or, as "normal" as scud-running in Alaska, through Thompson Pass from Valdez (PAVD) to Gulkana (PAGK), can be. The video is rather long as it's undedited (other than starting and ending airborne). It begins entering the Valdez Arm from Prince William Sound, passes by the Alaska Pipeline Terminal and the town of Valdez, then follows the route of the Pipeline itself along the Lowe River up into the Chugach Mountains. Climbing up through the saddle of Thompson Pass, …

Welcome To Skiathos, Europe's St. Maarten. https://vimeo.com/81333440 My first FSX dedicated video, but not the first video I made (video editing is my job). I hope you'll really enjoy it, as much as I did making it. Cheers and thank you in advance for feedback!

Name: Prepar3D V2 over Cape Town Category: P3D Scenery Date Added: 09 December 2013 - 12:33 AM Submitter: geolpilot Short Description: A flight round Cape Town in P3D with heavy scenery and settings to show its capabilities Wanted to show how well Prepar3D V2.0 performs on my setup, with very heavy user-created mesh and landclass, a detailed aircraft (Carenado's Cirrus SR22 Turbo, known to be a frame-rate hitter in FSX), and P3D settings mostly at high to maximum. To dispel myths about poor performance, cloud rotation effects, lack of realism, etc, etc. View Video

Was testing out winds and how it affected the water, 15k with 22k gusts ... may need to dial traffic back a little ... landing starts around 8:50 mark. Still deciding if I like cloud reflections on the water or not.

Name: Microburst Encounter with Active Sky Next Category: Commercial Product Videos Date Added: 05 December 2013 - 09:03 AM Submitter: Damian Clark Short Description: None Provided Microbursts are simulated in Active Sky Next. Associated with flying below severe thunderstorms, in most cases, you'll receive a sudden increase in airspeed followed by increasing downdrafts and a sudden decrease in airspeed, due to radial outflow from intense convective activity. ASN also simulates PWS with visual and aural alerts when windshear is detected ahead of the aircraft. For more information, visit www.activeskynext.com. View Video
