It's not a simple "code addition", or FSX code cleanup, the engine has been completely overhauled. Many of the features that were added were thanks to community suggestions! Prepar3d is specifically created for customers wishing to learn about flight simulation, and it's not intended to be a "game" (hence, the license lingo used). The rumors about home customers not being eligible are 100% false, and originate from users from…

Can't wait to explore more of the country ... just a quick test flight from Lisbon. Took a fps hit with 32X around Lisbon, but once in the air enjoyed better fps.

    Started by Guest,

This was perhaps the most enjoyable FSX flight to date ... frame rates took a hit at Innsbruck with FTX and FSGRW weather (and fraps recording) -- got as low as 15 fps but was still very flyable/enjoyable (this is where DX10 seems to shine). LOD = 9.5 - Textures = 2048 - cloud draw = 160mi - AutoGen_Density = 5, Bloom On, DX10 Controller v1.1.24, 2560 x 1600 4XAA Along route it's easy to spot transition from FTX to MSE ... I enjoyed both for what they are. I usually rate my flights upon completion and this one has taken my #1 spot in Rob's Ratings -- wish I could present it in it's full glory at 2560 x 1600 native (35GB file) but it's been compressed down to for…

Quick video I made of a problem I'm having at Innsbruck with the RealAir Legacy (probably something embarrassing). I keep losing almost all power above 6200 ft ... bring it down to around 4500 feet and the power is back. It's not a mixture problem, adjusted for peak. Any ideas what's going on?
