Hey AVSIM community. I finally got around to making my first (lengthy) video. Thanks to all the help and support over the last view months to get my FSX into shape for recording. There are no tricks or gimmicks or video enhancements that were not directly in FSX itself. I wanted to show that you can have solid 30+ frames even at busy detailed airports while even inside the PMDG 737. I split the video into two parts. The first covers the start up, taxi out and take off and the second is the descent in, landing and taxi to the gate. Flight is between Flightbeam's KIAD Dulles and FlyTampa's Chicago Midway. Enjoy! As this is a test flight for the newly manufactured C47 V2 for FSX by Manfred Jahn, I hired a lady co-pilot to help me with the radio comms, while I focus on learning how to fly this beauty of the sky in FSE..... Turns out that the fuel tanks has not been certified by the FSE. When I landed at Calgary international, the FSE aircraft certification officer approached me and informed me that I have to depart immediately to my departure airport and hire a C47 fuel tank specialist to revamp the fuel tanks to FSE standard. I've just uploaded the first episode of the new season of my FSX Let's Play series on YouTube. In this episode we go right back to where it all began, with a quick and casual VFR flight from Barton Aerodrome to Liverpool John Lennon. This is the very first flight I did when I first bought FSX, and also the first video I did for season 1. "As is" This video I downsized from 2560 x 1600 to 1080p (which is not the same aspect ratio hence black bars left/right side) and heavy compression for YouTube quality (8Mbps data rate) ... wish I could show you the native captured footage (truly "as is") but I think I was up around 32GB combined clips (for about 6 minutes).
