So I spent the Canadian Thanksgiving (Oct14th) on my Flight Test for my Group 3 IFR.. In a previous video I used the Sim to "Practice" and much of it was still correct..Only this time it was a little in reverse. I had to fly out to CYRP to meet the examiner to do the flight test. It was helpful to be able to Fly prior to having to do the flight test....Really helped with calming some of the anxiety and better yet getting a feel for the Weather and plane..... In this video I Fly to Carp do the flight test (for this I used FlightAware to get the flight tracking and then was able to download the Audio From LiveATC so that I could pair them up) and then the return…

  8. Last summer, I saw the Beautiful KLM Orange Pride Boeing 777-3 Departing Amsterdam Schiphol! On this plane the Dutch athletes came back from the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio. Enjoy the video 🙂

In the days of MS2020, It suddenly occurred to me to take another look at a technology, that offered the possibility of many of the same things, but most definitely did not have a 120 member team and zillions of dollars of backing! A promising road not travelled. Yet. An interesting sidebar is that an entire Outerra earth would likely be less than 100GB! It can also be streamed to computers exactly like MS2020. Maybe they need to hire 120 more guys! 😋

  10. In this video I go through a complete IFR Flight Test preparation Flight. I am a big proponent of just how much one can learn and improve real world flying skills from your home simulator!! You may not be able to Log it like you can with a Certified FTD but the time spent is extremely valuable!!! This is left almost uncut for the most part to share the context of the benefits of having and using a home Simulator to supplement your training.
