Flight 2 (Precision Approach into KBVS) of the Pacific West By Air series. This is a short flight over the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the San Juan Islands in the PIPER Cheyenne II twin turboprop with instructional comments. We land at Skagit Regional Airport via an RNAV (GPS) approach on runway 11. Multiple camera views were used to highlight the airport approach and the landing. Enjoy!

I started an Air Hauler 2 Series last year to go from lowest level to present!!! We are up to ep 60!!! Have a look as we do 2 separate flights in this episode in the Carenado C208B to complete 3 Cargo Jobs. Every time I get a new aircraft in the mix I have to get the home cockpit reconfigured....always good times

ForeFlight adds extra fun, excitement and safety to all flights. I used the ForeFlight app with the enhanced 3D review feature to preview the flight plan from Port Angeles to Skagit Regional airport for my next video (Pacific West by Air - Precision Approach into KBVS - Flight 2). This newest feature in Foreflight allows an interactive third-person view of the aircraft along the flight route from your selected perspective. The 3D review is an extremely beneficial feature for pre- and post-flight planning evaluation. The video length was compressed by accelerating the 10x and 20X previews up to 350%.

Here is a small compilation of some PC-12's I have seen last year. The PC-12 is one of my favorite aircraft: nice design, for short runways, powerful engine, very flexible... (I like comparing X-Plane to MSFS 2020, but is this the thread to do it in? Also, I am not a big fan of X-Plane, I think MSFS will much a huge improvement.) Yes, the rain in that sounded terrible. But X-Plane can sound much better for free.

Just passing some high level clouds in the PMDG 777 enroute from PHNL to NZWN... Not a real life route but I saw Singapore is flying a 350-900 in there so why not a 777... Just one of those immersive moments in P3D

The Vertx DA62 has some nice looking (and variable) wing flex. I'm sure such an option will be part of the sim physics, makes sense for it to be, given all what they are putting into it.

Hi! I just come across an stunning video showing ILS landing in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Both the aircraft and the surrounding environment feels very close to reality IMHO. I am very much anticipated for the release of this much-awaited MS. software.

Well, at this point, while there are lots of potential answers to that question, I'd say they are really going to be competing with themselves/FSX. No sign of them even making a start on the (enormous) Mac/Linux/Mobile market. Dwindling FSX sales -> MSFS2020 at an order of magnitude higher price. Really? You think it will take that crown from Gran Turismo 7 (with PSVR 2.0 support)? I'm not even convinced MSFT have promised enough that MSFS2020 doesn't go the same way as MS Flight or flight sim world. Flight sim is a very tough, demanding market to crack. They haven't actually promised VR - They haven't even really promised mods in any meaningful way. …

Five-time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant, and his 13-year-old daughter were among the 9 people killed when the Sikorsky S-76B helicopter they were in impacted hilly terrain in Calabasas, Los Angeles County, California. The helicopter followed US Route 101 under a Special VFR clearance before turning left towards the hills near Calabasas, where it came down.
