I was sent a link to this video. Not being an airliner aficionado, this was all news to me. Loads of you will probably be more au fait with what the chap says.

Flight 3 (Panthera Dusk Flight Over the Cascade Mountains) of the Pacific West by Air series. This is a 222 nautical mile flight over the Cascade Mountain Range of Washington State with navigational instruction. Flying the ultra sleek Slovakian built Pipistrel Panthera, we depart at Skagit Regional Airport and land at night at Spokane International Airport via an ILS approach on RWY 03. Complete flight with the middle portion time-lapsed. Flight planning by ForeFlight.

Thanks to a great bit of software called GSX you can now load animated passengers into your aircraft. It does require the latest version of P3Dv4 though. This video shows a highly modified version of GSX to produce a more retro look. I redid the passenger bus and coded the passengers to use the Connie's Stairs so it all looks like 1950's.. Link to Short two minute YouTube video in HD. https://youtu.be/wxNtSUPdxcQ And here is a teaser screenshot.....

I finally do my first Single Pilot IFR flight after getting my Rating. CYOW - CYTZ CYTZ is Billy Bishop on the Island in Toronto. Flown in on Porter many times but never myself! We fly the RNAV GPS Z 08 approach. I edited down most of the flight to the IFR and interactions but made sure to keep the entire duration of the Approach from when I was cleared to it. Departure is in VMC conditions but as we get to the Toronto area the Cloud ceilings below us become solid!! Hope you like!

The accumulation of much trial and error testing Prepar3D to reach the tightest high detail and maximum smoothness tune running Nvidia DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) @ 2560x1440. I think this round of tuning has reached the limits of what my now 3 year old hardware can achieve, maybe when the next gen of Nvidia cards come out I'll be due for a new workstation. Cheers Items Tuned: ==================== Extensive prepar3d.cfg changes to suit my style of flying. The P3D GFX sliders are mostly at max (autogen draw distance is at medium). Reshade and custom filter tuning. Some direct hand customisation of P3D shaders. …

Chock's post with photos about the dented Icelandair 757 reminded me about a video I'd seen a while back about what appears to be quite a dent near the back of the no.3 engine on this Western Global MD-11 (core cowl or exhaust sleeve area). The dent doesn't appear to hinder her too much on takeoff.

Had a bit of a mad ten minutes this morning at work. I was working on an aircraft and the only person other than me who initially turned up to also work on it, was the dispatcher, and she's busty dealing with her stuff of course, so could only help me a little bit. So I had to get it on stand, chock it, cone it, power it, do an arrival walkaround check, put the towbar on, get the dispatcher to help me bank the belt onto the aircraft (she forgot to chock it which the person banking on should do, but I did put the parking brake on so it's not the end of the world), then get the truck and trailer for the bags, then get in the hold, unload stuff onto the belt, then go down th…

Hi all, This is a flight in the JustFlight 152 from St. Martin to St. Barts: FlyTampa St. Martin to St. Barts This is an area I fly in all the time, and I've made this flight in real life (Real-life flight to St. Barts). It is real-world, real-time weather, everything is automated through Environment Force and Sky Force - set it and forget it. This is why I'm so blasé about MSFS. My P3D setup is amazing and runs like a dream Addons: UTX Tropical America and Caribbean Environment Force X Sky Force X FlyTampa St. Martin (which includes the destination airport/island, St. Barts) JustFlight Cessna 152

I was trying out a camera to see if it was suitable for a Chock's hangar video I'm making (I decided it is too poor quality to use and will use a different camera), but if you like airliners you might be interested in seeing it. It's me headsetting out a KLM 737-800 which is pushing back off Stand 49 at EGCC today:
