I have started a series of videos on what the impact is of ORBX on the Sim....Since I upgraded to P3Dv4.5 thought it would be good to go through each item installed one by one. This will allow for a better understanding of what pieces are doing the most damage to the Sim Experience.....It is not all just about FPS. There is some other side effects that we will address. Sadly not all have been dealt with in the years this stuff has been out. Some items are inexcusable since this is a simulator and when the add on breaks some "important" flight related aspects they should address it --- or stop selling the product. Here is a tour of the local airport 2 miles from home. My house makes a cameo. This was inspired by Scottb613 who started it for FS9. It is a potpouri of FS Earth Tiles, free items, sidneyschwartz lights, my sketchup objects, autogen annotator, ADE airport Editor, sketchup items. It is finished for now. We will see what Microsoft has in store.

Finding myself doing a fair amount of flying in the islands recently given the great P3D scenery available from Hawaii Photoreal, fdsdt, and now the new Honolulu cityscape from orbx. Here's a full flight video from HNL to OGG.

Last week, it were the Liberation Days in Antwerp City and at Antwerp Airport Deurne! A beautiful event and airshow with some stunning WW2 aircraft! This is part 2/3 from the Sunday Airshow featuring the B-17 Flying Fortress, the rare Yak 3, a Boomerang, Spitfire and the Stampe Formation. Enjoy! 🙂

This flight was recorded using Prepar3D, Flight Control Replay, and audio recorded in real time from LiveATC,net including Napa Ground, Tower, and Oakland Center.

I have added LiveATC to this short video from Falcon where I trained as a student pilot into Sky Harbor. It is a nice route and with LiveATC as a backdrop a fun little flight to share.
