Some real world photos from my home airfield I took last Thursday, September 27. We have kind of a competition here, and many pilots came to test their skills, so there are like 25 planes around here, mostly C152s. I love competitions, because pilots from all Poland and other countries (mostly Germany, but there was one guy from Estonia and another one from the Czech Republic) come to my city. Thats great because if I have luck I can talk to many of them, but first I must have permission to enter the airport area. This time I had to ask the director personally, and he let me do it! So the best plane I saw was a Cessna CT182T, registration SP-KWT. Its a brand new Skyl…

Here are some of the airplanes that were parked durring the event! There were many helicopters flying all over the place as well, but I never seemed to have my camera at the right moment. Normally the airspace is uncontrolled, so for the event - the FAA brought in a temp tower and some of the controllers from O'hare Intl (KORD). Some of the ATC guys were quite funny - many of the pilots are just starting flight training and they don't have a lot of tower experiance. A conversation like this took place. N2166E : "Tower, this 2166E holding short of runway 02, training a student on Air Traffic Control procedures, ready for takeoff westbound departure." Tower:…

I went to Oahu for vacation and took a one day trip to Hawaii. Here's Hawaiian Boeing 717 at about 7 a.m., same as what I am on. Second is Waikiki and Diamond Head. Last is our approach to Hilo.

Flying yesterday evening from KHIO to KUAO for our weekly club meeting I took these great shots of the area around Stark's Twin Oaks. Nice to compare Orbx's scenery with these. This is a truly beautiful area to fly around... I am lucky to live and fly here for real.

Just some shots of my flight earlier from John Wayne to Santa Barbara and I flew the LA Special Flight Rules into Bravo airspace which means I fly directly on top of LAX at 4500ft heading north and 3500ft while flying south. It was an amazing sight to see this busy airport from above, I saw the Qantas A380 parked up waiting for its late night departure. And the flight itself was spectacular, very beautiful day in southern california today. Enjoy. And some very bad quality shots of my final onto 15L at SBA

Here are some pictures from my 'archive'. Boeing Stearman "Old Crow" Another nice Stearman A Learjet 35A on the taxi out to the runway at Munster-Osnabruck airport (EDDG) A pretty Gulfstream at Toulouse Blagnac Airport, note the Beluga and 737 BBJ in the background Airbus Beluga "Cinq" lining up behind our takeoff (we were flying a puny Socata TB-10) Here's an Eastern Jetstream 41 at Le Mans Arnage Airport. Fun NDB approach there with a view of the Le Mans track. A KLM Fokker 100 donated by KLM to the Aviodrome museum at Lelystad Airport arrived with flags flying. A KDC-10 tanker followed by a bunch of F-16's in formation duri…

Hi all, I was surfing on Youtube and found this one: Amazing windshear at 50ft above ground. Could have been a disaster...good pilot reflex and a lot of chance! PS: If it was already posted before, sorry I missed it... Stéphane

Not sure what kind of D10 this was with the weird door mod. You can't see the fuse mod also due to these pics coming off my phone. Sorry for the quality. I would have thought my EVO would have taken better pics...lol.
