Hello everyone ! I have quite a problematic issue with FSUIPC/SimConnect. After something around 4 or 5 hours of flight, FSUIPC disappears from the "Add-Ons" menu of FSX. My virtual airline's ACARS don't gather any information about the plane's conditions (flaps up/down, gear up/down, overspeeding, landing rate...). kACARS landing rate isn't working too, as well as EFASS: it stops showing the aircraft on the map. FSUIPC still continues to autosave the flight though. Some people on the internet says it's a problem with SimConnect, but I haven't seen yet a Can you guys help me ? Hi all, I am using rex now for good while now and never had an issue with it, until last week when it seemed to lose all my settings and refuse to connect to the internet and download the current weather data. I have registered with the rex support and forum but have yet to be excepted or enabled to post a ticket to resolve this issue bearing in mind i applied last week and still have heard nothing pretty crap after sale service for such a good product. Hello everyone, I am trying to send values from SimConnect to a usb device. I would like to send some bool values for example MCP_annunFD[0] and CDU_annunEXEC[0] to the usb device to set some lights. Ok, I'm at my wits end here guys. Yesterday, I suffered a power failure whilst my pc was on. Several hours later, power now restored, I load up P3D V2 for a flight only to find 'sim connect can't init' error. My first thought was IP addresses, so I checked and changed them to the correct address, and nothing. The error remains. Next up, I check all my sim connect files. All good, but still no joy. So I loaded up fsx to see if it was suffering the same issue. It was. Reinstalled simconnect, all three versions for fsx. No dice. Issue still remained. Uninstalled and reinstalled fsx. No joy. Hi, I've made a basic MFC app and hooked up SimConnect. I used Simconnect_Open, giving it an HWND and user eventId and my event function is getting messages. Hi there! Well, I know this is a very discussed topic and even though I've been in FSX for over 5 years I hadn't had this problem until now and I don't even know how it started. I had a little problem with certain addon and searching everywhere for a solution I read from a very reliable source that it had to do with SimConnect, that the easiest solution would be to repair the installation and different versions of SimConnect. I tried doing it directly in the Program and Features tool of my Win8 and it did not work. Hello I am struggling to get plan G to connect to FSX using Simconnect. I have Plan G installed on laptop and I am sharing the location folders ok from my main rig. I am trying to connect to FSX,using PRO ATC, from my client PC. I have installed all SDK's on both PC's. When i do a test with the simconnect.exe i get the error" simconnect Failed seek assistance in reparing FSX WinSxS subsystem. I have don a search in the Winsxs folder for simconnect.dll's. Recently did clean installation of Win7 64 on 2 PCs - One with FSX only and the other with ASN, widefs, etc. I have had 4 CTDs mainly while on approach or close to landing. I am in need/search of Build 61259 of SimConnect. My SP2 installed 61637 and I have software complaining that it can't find build 61259. I'm not sure where this particular build of SimConnect originated (an older release of SP2?). If someone has it, could they upload it somewhere or point me to a link? Thanks. J

If you click on the NAV button on the G1000 PFD, the NAV cursor (blue box outline) moves from one NAV to the other to show which NAV you will be entering the frequency for. I can't find the corresponding simconnect event for this button, or a keyboard shortcut for it. Ditto the COM 1-2 button on the PFD. Note, I am not talking about the frequency sway between current and standby. Regards, Dave

Hello, In FSX, I'm setting weather using simConnect. Weather is given to FSX through METAR messages and "SimConnect_weatherSetObservation" function. In the METAR I can adjust some clouds parameters (type, base, type of top, precipitation, ...). However, I can't see the way to set the adjust the cloud height... Does somebody know how to do that ? I had some problems with certain software with P3D and it turned out I needed some simconnect files from FSX to get this working. Because I wasnt sure which installation would install which componants, I just installed the whole FSX+Acc and SDK, to make sure I would have all simconnect componants. But now I'm wondering if it would have been a necassity to install a complete FSX, or if the SDK's would have been enough. Could someone please tell me if installing the SDKs would be enough to install all Simconnect componants, or do I need the whole FSX+Acc install to get all Simconnect componants installed?

All, I am not sure if this is related to simconnect, but FSUIPC, Couatl and Addon Manager will not open. Yes..I have spoke with Peter on this issue but it seems like its not FSUIPC. I rebuilt my INI file and it worked fine 1X and then when I tried again..it didnt work. I deleted and resintalled Couatl and Addon Manager for Flightbeam and Qualitywings. Any suggestions?

I recently acquired another computer to run as a client for my FSX. And I caught a video of Froogle's about networking 2 computers. Might have been a mistake. He insisted that each computer needed what seemed to be 3 different versions of Simconnect in order to work with everything properly (along with the SDK tricks which I had already performed in the past). And so I installed each of the Simconnects as instructed. Still haven't gotten around to networking the two machines, but now I am getting some very weird things happening on my FSX, mostly having to do with EZCA, FSUIPC, and my Saitek X52 controller. Hello Can anyone help me with how to get FSX to process an event that you have masked after you've done what you wanted to do first. e.g. I'm trapping the NextSubView, in order to do some other things first, but when I subsequently do this fsx_simconnect.TransmitClientEvent(DEFINITIONS.Struct1, EVENT_ID.EVENT_NextSubView, 0, hSimconnect.Group1, SIMCONNECT_EVENT_FLAG.GROUPID_IS_PRIORITY) it re-triggers the event again so I just go around in circles. The work around I'm using is to remove the event from the notification group, trigger the NextSubView, then add the event back to the group. Is there a tidier way? Does anyone know if there is a way of controlling a nominated undocked camera window using CameraSetRelative6DOF? CameraSetRelative6DOF by default always seems directed to the view linked to the main program window. You can undock that, which will become View 00, and camera commands will still go to it, but I want to direct CameraSetRelative6DOF at View 01 or 02 or whatever. Also, could someone tell be the Class names for the main and undocked windows for FS2004. Are they still FS98MAIN and FSFLOAT like they are in FSX? Thanks

FSX Deluxe Edition (Acceleration, etc.) has been installed and running for awhile. I've got numerous add-ons as well. Now I want to run Squawkbox 4 on my laptop to connect with VATSIM. Is it true that SimConnect doesn't need to be installed on the FSX computer? It was never installed even though I did a complete install. In other words, simconnect.xml is not to be found. Was that normal? Am I okay?

Hello all For whatever reason, whenever I start FSX a 'Simconnect diagnostic' window opens and stays open with fast scrolling text. I can't close this window other than to end the programme with the task manager. When I do FSX crashes and each time the crash is caused by a different .dll file.
