I usually plan my flight with FSNavigator and export it to LDS. I do nothing else with the FMC other then activate the route. My question is will FS2Crew work with nothing else programmed in the FMC? I have read that FS2Crew uses this, that and other stuff from the FMC for some of its calls.JimCYWG

Hi Bryan,This muppet can't seem to get the Term shutdown to run.My normal time to do this is after the shutdown checklist, but when are we supposed to do it. After I shut down the engines and run the shutdown checklist, the FO button is no longer available on the main panel.Chris

Alright, a few weeks gone by and a few flights done.I don't know is it just me, but I haven't heard the FO remind you of unread checklists and things you might have missed, as he did in the ATR version. Has this feature been removed?

Hi all,Forgive my poor English, but there are some words I cannot hear accurately and so I need your help.In the before start checklist, after the captain read V1, Vr, did he say 'enter V2' or anything ? What does it mean ? Then, he said 'plus 20 give.......', did he mean V2 plus 20 ? I was at EDDF. Then, he said something '370 bug for 130 ???(a word I cannot hear, something like air....), we are set for a 'deviated take off'. What is that 130 ? Can anyone give me a full senetence of what he said and what does that 130 refer to? Then, finally, when the captain handed over the plane to the engineer, he said the flight was great, '???? guy, tail wind, sweat machine, absolut…

Hi everyone, after the great ATR edition I was really curious about the 767 edition... Well, this is really fantastic, congrats Bryan!Yesterday I was flying the tutorial and everything went fine since the approach... I was way out of the G/S so I declared a GoAround. A quick look at the manual and I was able to accomplish it without any pain and I was holding in the pattern with the after takeoff checklist accomplished.Since I found no fs2crew documentation on what to do after a MAP, I proceeded in my usual way, reloading the ILS APPR in the FMC, proceeding with vectors and slowing down the aircraft and deploying flaps myself. Suddenly when I was on base the fs2crew FO kic…

I was flying downwind to RWY 10L at KSFO and turning to base when I had a CTD .The reason I have brought this up in this forum it is the first CTD I have ever had .The only thing that has changed is adding FS2CREW for the LD767.I am also running at the sametime RC4,AI SMOOTH, and ,ASV. I am asking if anyone has a similar setup and have experienced a CTD. I did install the updated Ground Environment to ver 1.05 the previous night as well. The flt originated out of KLAX and was uneventful up until I was told by RV4 ATC to turn left onto base and then FS just ended with no warnings.ThanksAndy

I have tried 2 flights now but everytime it gets to 4mins remaining when I expect the dstr form I get nothing. At 3mins the doors close and from then on everything is as it should be UNTIL I set N1 at TO, then I'm back to the disappearing FO.I still have the replacement gauge installed so what could the issue be now? This happens without time skippingMany thanksGraham

I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. I've set and re-set my main key several times. I've gone through the tutorial 3 times. But when I get to where I must push the main key to start the before engine start check list, nothing happens. What am I missing? Please help. Thanks!P.S. I have the 737 and ATR FS2Crews and I always struggle on the learning curve...LOL. I guess this one won't be any different.Mike

Guys and Brian: This thing is simply fantastic! I'm getting better and better running this thing. I still make a few mistakes now and then that causes it to not work properly. Stupid things such as not hitting the secondary button during taxi. That tends to screw up the timing of events.Last night, I did something wrong that the after takeoff events did not take place. I ended up flying like I did before buying this. But when I got to the destination and did the approach brief, I heard everything that is supposed to take place after takeoff.So.....in a nutshell: BE CERTAIN YOU PUSH THE CORRECT BUTTON WHILE TAXING!Now, I got a question for EVERYONE: For the non-pil…

Hi Bryan - I've created a pile of SIDs & STARs etc (as you know) and have removed the originals from the SIDs folder apart from the Generic one. Yet when I list the SIDs during the briefing, the original SIDs appear to be the only ones listed - is there a way to fix this please so I can call up my own please? Thanks

Bonjour,I am studying the documentation before using FS2Crew and I have some questions.1 I did not find in the doc how the landing field elevation is set(may be this is missing) .Before posting I made a search and found the answer in this forum2 Page 43 , we have to turn on the hydraulic to be able to set the trim.I think it is done with the demand pump selector, but why do we have to use both pumps as it seems that only the left system provide hydraulic to the trim ?3 I am a bit confused about DA and DH.In CAT I it is said that DH is not used and the reference is barometric, but in the doc , we can read Decision height, shouldn't it be Decision Altitude (DA)I understand …

There is a red card on the throttle pedestal which indicates that the cabin is not secure. How and when is that supposed to change to secure?I'm assuming this is similar to the "cockpit door locked" stage which occurs in the B737 just before push back, but in the B767, the card seems always to remain as "not secured".

Captains,Graham Jackson has recorded a Brit voice set for FS2Crew 767.Re-recording an FS2Crew voice set is a huge undertaking, and Graham deserves a lot of credit for his hard work.I need about 10 Brits who use FS2Crew 767 to beta test the British voice set before it can be released to the public. We could also use someone with a background in professional sound engineering. If you want to test the Brit voice set, please email me at:[email protected] only need about 10 people, so please only volunteer if you have lots of time to test.If you are an existing FS2Crew beta tester and you want to test the Brit voice set, please contact me as well. All the best,Bryan

The initial impression is great, there seems to be a lot to this version.Unfortunately I seem to be running into a lot of problems.1. The paperwork window fonts seem to be almost unreadable. You can barely make out that some of the figures are "real" but for example the V-speed numbers are totally unreadable. I tried resizing the window but no help.2. I have tried the tutorial twice now, and the first problem comes at items 49-50 at the kneeboard where someone is supposed to bring the distribution forum at 4 minutes and the FA ask for close-up at 3 minutes. Well, no one appears, doors close and at 0 minutes the FO dialogue pops up. Prior to that the Before start list has …

Flying this afternoon from KSFO-KBOS, about 2:45 into the flight at FL390, I get a call from the cabin, "passenger on oxygen, we think its his heart, please call so-and-so..." so I called so-and-so (cool sounds, by the way), and they told me to get him on the ground pronto! So, we diverted to KMSP and landed there about 30 minutes later (no ambulance waiting at the gate though :-()Took off an hour later and continued our flight to KBOS uneventfully.Nice job FS2crew :-)Damonp.s. for an update, it might be cool if someone said something after you get on the ground on a divert...like to acknowledge that you got there in time or something :-)

Hi Bryan,Great program. Still working my way through the tutorial. Now that the Load Sheet contains real data for ZFW, MACTOW, Takeoff Trim, and Fuel Loaded (not Takeoff Fuel as the Load Sheet says), having a hard oopy of the Load Sheet would be very helpful when programming the FMC as well as for other purposes.Would it be possible to provide for printing the Load Sheet, or at least a printout containing the real data?Best regards,Sandy

Hi Brian,I haven't heard it yet, but is there a doors PA included, maybe something along the line of "Cabin Crew, doors to automatic and cross check" on departure, and maybe on shutdown "Cabin Crew, doors to manual and cross check".Just a thought.Chris

Captains,For my own curiosity, I'd like know how many of you use the new FS2Crew Start Center located on your Desktop? Thanks,Bryan

I would like to start with C&D set up rather than standard engineers set up. My only concern is that my own C&D panel state may not be 100% what FS2Crew is expecting. I wonder if someone can make a C&D file that has been verified so it can be used in this situation. Those of us that want to start C&D can then just turn on the battery, start APU etc...Mark.
