Hallo, In the fs9 I prefer to fly VFR without using the GPS. In this case it is sometimes difficult to detect small airfields with a soft surface, even if you rather close to it. As a help, I would like a tool which starts a signal- (or illumination) rocket from the airfield at my request. I imagine the tool to open a small window where I enter the ICAO code of the airfield and a button which starts the signal rocket.This certainly would be great help and I would appreciate if anybody could develop such this add-on for the fs9.Best regards,Kurt

Hello,I just buy Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel.It only works with original aircrafts of FS and not with add ons such as Pilot In command Boeing 737 (nothing works except gers and motors) and PMDG Boeing 737 800-900.Is it normal? Does a specific patch exist ?Thanks for your help !

Hope this is the correct forum to ask help for the issue described below.I have written a VB program that should allow, on a system with two displays, to send to FS2004 the keys utilised by FS Passsengers and Radar Contact mouse clicking on command buttons and without the need of the keyboard.The problem is that, even if i disale the pause between programs on FS2004 and activate form VB the FS2004 process (using the Appactivate instruction), when i click on the command buttons in my VB app, FS2004 falls in iconized modeon the Windows status bar and nothing happens on it (I use Fs2004 in full screenm mode).Is there a possible solution to this problem? I have noticed recently that when exporting a flightplan from FSNav to FS2004 the drop-down list of parking areas shows the "Stock" airports parking...not the addon AF2 parking. This doesn't happen on every airport I've added (and I have a bunch), just on a few I've noticed, so far. KMIA is one. I have Fly-Tampa KMIA installed and all it's parking shows up on the FSNav Map view perfectly. Once I create and save a flightplan, however, and try to export it to FS(, the FSNav drop=down menu, to select a parking spot, shows only the "stock" KMIA parking list. I am totally new here on this forum.I am a newly certified flight instructor with instrument rating in the USA.I am very interested in the usage of MS flightsim to practice instrument flying and procedures. `Does anybody know the syntax of the line entries in the .pln text files produced by the flight plan wizard in FS9? I wold like to be able to generate a loop or similar such route suitable for a flying tour bus. Hello all, I'm hoping to get the attention of a few of the FS9/FSX scenery designers out there. Have you ever worked on a project only to have someone else release the same project when you are half-way through? I have and it's discouraging. I have also done it to other people, most recently when I released a Cold Lake Canada scenery at the same time as Alphasim. Hi y'all!I hope you can help with a problem I got.. I've got to read out the values of some token variables from FS2004 because we need the data in a small project. I tried to use the panels and gauges sdk to create an invisible gauge and thus to read out the variables with lookup_var(). It kind of works, but my value-recording-function is obviously only called when the flight simulation begins and ends. However I need to collect the data also during the flight. So, how can I get the FS to call my function periodically during the flight? What I did up to now is that I used a callback function in the GAUGE_HEADER_FS700-macro, which seems to be called only for the serviceId…

I recently joined the VUSCG and downloaded a zip file containing files that needed to be added into the scenery for FS9. First I made a folder as it told me to do. Next I put two folders into the MAIN folder that where SCENERY and TEXTURE. I put the appropriate files in the appropriate folders and put the folder in the FS9 MAIN SCENERY like it said to do. I then added it to my scenery and I do not see the scenery. I have tried many things, but maybe one of you that knows more about computers can help? ThanksBrooks
