	Hello AVSIM community,
</p>

<p>
	I've just released v0.2.2 of Aviator Ledger, a browser-based airline career simulator currently in free beta. I'd welcome feedback from experienced simmers and anyone with real-world aviation knowledge.
</p>

<p>
	Website: aviatorledger.com — no account required, runs in your browser.
</p>

<p>
	This update focused on a complete overhaul of the private aviation charter business system:
</p>

<p>
	— Operating certificate fees scaling with fleet size (Part 135 style, $2K-$50K/month)<br />
	— Crew management with annual raises, seniority bonuses, morale tracking, and attrition<br />
	— Type rating enforcement on crew aircraft assignments<br />
	— Reputation system (0-100) gating client categories — Corporate at 50+, Sports Teams at 70+, Government contracts at 85+<br />
	— Monthly fuel price fluctuation ±15%<br />
	— Maintenance events including random groundings and mandatory annual inspections<br />
	— Fleet Finances tab with revenue trends and expense breakdowns<br />
	— Maintenance tab with inspection scheduling and event log
</p>

<p>
	Also added a career leave of absence system (seniority preserved) and one-click career stats sharing.
</p>

<p>
	The core career system remains the most detailed in the market for this type of application:
</p>

<p>
	— 61 real airlines across all tiers<br />
	— FAA Part 117 fatigue rules enforced server-side (9h/24h + 30h rolling 7-day)<br />
	— 66 tax bracket systems including all 50 US states and 32 international systems<br />
	— Per-airline 401(k) employer match policies<br />
	— Duty rig pay at half rate, overtime at 1.5x above 90h/month<br />
	— Flight briefings with pax count, cargo, fuel estimate, and TOW<br />
	— Native log import for MSFS 2020/2024, X-Plane 11/12, and Aerofly FS4<br />
	— SimBrief OFP integration<br />
	— Built-in glass cockpit flight view by aircraft type
</p>

<p>
	I'm particularly interested in feedback from anyone with Part 135 charter operations experience who can tell me where the business modeling is wrong.
</p>

</p>

<p>
	Thank you for any time you can give it.

	<strong>What Does It Actually Do?</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Voice Command &amp; Control: It physically move the switches in the cockpit, it's AI operated so you dont have to ask the exact command. The AI will process what you said and choose the command that best suits your response.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>Automated Procedures</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		They can handle complex tasks on their own, like the full "Cold &amp; Dark" power-up, engine start sequences, or after-landing cleanup, go arrounds etc.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>Interactive Checklists</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Use the default or add your own checklist! You can ask the AI to execute the commands or simply do the check where you only have to say if it's done or not. Whatever you add, the AI will search on the commands list or procedure list and choose what's the best command for what your checklist is asking. This is a feature separate from the commands that are already integrated.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>Flight Awareness</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		The copilot reads your SimBrief plan and live data. You can ask, "What’s our block fuel?" or "What's the weather at Heathrow?" "What's the waypoint after X" and get a real answer.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	Hello, we are building an app with a <strong>plug-and-play concept</strong> that uses <strong>AI to act as a copilot in MSFS</strong>. In the app, we talk to the AI as if it were a chat, both <strong>by voice and by text</strong>, to execute <strong>commands/procedures in MSFS</strong>, as well as the features described in the text below.<br />
	<br />
	<strong>How the AI Works </strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Bring Your Own API: Bring your own API, the AI will understand natural speech. You can use Free API's (More than capable for this)
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>Works "Offline": </strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		If you don't want to use an AI API, it has a "Direct Command" mode that works instantly, you will have, of course, to know the right commands, you will not have the AI choosing what's the best command for your input. We have a Guide in the app where you can see and search for all the commands. The voice recognition it's on Local AI, you will still use AI for that
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>Local Speech</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		It hears you and speaks to you using AI technology that runs entirely on your own computer, it will understand what you are saying. (You can also use cloud-based AI with your own API key, but using the local AI has a minimal performance impact, i think it's not worth it the cloud based in this case)
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<strong>No Subscriptions</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		You own the software. You can use free AI tiers so there are no monthly costs, the AI API's are more that enough for this app. Deep Integration: It controls over 300+ switches and knobs—almost everything in the Fenix A320/FlyByWire (more being added).
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>SimBrief Integration</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		You can load your flightplan (you only have to add your username in the app) and you will have access to the flightplan and an interactive map with the waypoints.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	<strong>Future</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		We will release with an autoupdater, the app will stay in development and new aircraft compatibility will be added. The release will be only for Fenix Products as an early access. How long will it take The app it's arround 70% done, all the systems works, it's all functional but still has some bugs, will only release it when it's 100% ready. And then i start the compatibility for another aircrafts. I want to read new ideas from the community
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<br />
	Where can I follow the development? On Discord: https://discord.gg/sthBZEjDp9

<p>
	I'm not sure if this has been brought up, and general searches just bring up so much extra 'fluff' nowhere related to the topic.
</p>

<p>
	But after all this time, AIG still points many of the manual files to the site unitedtrafficteam.com. It's now and has been for a while, just a false search engine, one of those 'this domain is for sale' sites, most likely used by 'less than ethical' folks to trick you into visiting similar sites.
</p>

<p>
	I have found one thread on the net from a supposed admin that they were trying to get permission to put files on said site. But nothing further. I've tried numerous times to register on the AIG forum but only get as far as the message that an admin has to approve the request. There are no ways to contact anyone. All 'personal' sections of the site are default 'Lorem Ipsum' pages.
</p>

<p>
	I've tried manual searches for the packages but have come up dry. Right now, I have a consistent error that about 12 repaints cannot be installed. Not a 'huge' deal, but a bit annoying and, in my opinion, a simple fix, especially after a few years.
</p>

<p>
	Can anyone else shed some light on the issue? Do they just not care? Other than that, the AIG software and AI Traffic are great! Really immersive.
</p>

<p>
	I feel that people these days just don't care about the details anymore. Unfortunately, the 'little' details pile up until they become a mountain, and then in the end, everyone gives up.

	I understand that Flightbeam recently changed their forums. So I created a new account and it says "Looks like you don't have access. This category is only available to select members." I have an issue with one of their products and I can't seem to get an answer. I've tried to contact them several days ago and I haven't heard back. Has anyone else encountered this issue where you can't access their new forums?

<p>
	Hello!
</p>

<p>
	I wrote a couple of addons to scratch a few itches I had with the main MSFS UI, such as:
</p>

<ul><li>
		Favorites
	</li>
	<li>
		Tags
	</li>
	<li>
		Notes
	</li>
	<li>
		Auto control preset switching
	</li>
	<li>
		Custom location saving
	</li>
	<li>
		++
	</li>
</ul><p>
	The videos below are a bit long winded (ha!) but go into most of the detail.
</p>

<p>
	If you want to cut to the chase just check out the benefit/feature list on the website links below:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://sonicviz.com/project/aircraft-manager/" rel="external nofollow">Aircraft Manager for MSFS</a>   <br /><a href="https://sonicviz.com/project/location-manager/" rel="external nofollow">Location Manager for MSFS</a>
</p>

<p>
	Free lite versions available as well.
</p>

<p>
	Any question, fire away!
</p>

<p>
	Happy flying!

<p>
	Hey Guys,<br /><br />
	I did not see a section to recruit developers, so I hope this is ok to post?  We are looking for an experienced Prepar3D coder/developer to join our team developing tactical simulation environments for fire and emergency services aerial training.
</p>

<p>
	Required skills:<br />
	-Development experience with Prepar3D/SimConnect<br />
	-C++ (preferred) and/or C# proficiency<br /><br />
	Desirable skills:<br />
	-Experience with Prepar3D v5 SDK (and soon to be P3Dv6!)<br />
	-Python proficiency<br />
	-Experience with Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality hardware integration<br /><br />
	This is a paid position where you can work remotely from home.  Not a venture where financial rewards are based on sales or finished goals.  This is not for retail sales.<br /><br />
	If this sounds like something you could be interested in, please send a resume/CV to info@intellictechnologies.  Check out our website on what we do at Intellic Technologies (don't think I am allowed to post a link so a simple search will find us).<br /><br />
	Thanks, Marcus

<p>
	Hello!<br />
	I want to have a poke at creating a skydiving/parachuting addon, which is a little different from powered aircraft.
</p>

<p>
	Some of the issues were discussed here: <a href="https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/paid-parachuting-addon-i-know-there-is-an-fsx-freeware/552750/5" rel="external nofollow">https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/paid-parachuting-addon-i-know-there-is-an-fsx-freeware/552750/5</a>
</p>

<p>
	I have a lot of real world experience in it, as well as development, but finding it difficult to find good resources on getting started with doing a custom WASM flight model, which is what is needed for this type of "aircraft" scenario(s).
</p>

<p>
	eg: (from link above)<br /><span style="background-color:#212121;color:#ffffff;font-size:15.008px;">Skydiving/parachuting is unique in the sense that the flight model geometry of the human body/parachute morphs into many possible states, wheras the current SDK CFD implementation is based around a static geometry underlying the aircraft model, which makes sense for the use cases it was designed for but that doesn’t actually cover the full range of aerial use cases.</span>
</p>

<p>
	I've got some bits and pieces from different places, but was wondering if anyone had some good starter projects/guides for that here?
</p>

<p>
	Thanks!

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm trying to develop a SimConnect program to monitor AI Traffic.  I'm able to do this successfully for some AI Traffic SimVars (like Airspeed) using SimConnect_AddToDataDefinition, SimConnect_RequestDataOnSimObject, etc.., but I cannot see the AI Traffic State (STATE_ENROUTE_AS_FILED, STATE_WAIT_INIT_CONFIRM, etc.).  The name of this variable is given online as "AI TRAFFIC STATE", but I get "EXCEPTION_NAME_UNRECOGNIZED" when I try to request it.  I wonder have Asobo changed the name of this to something else?
</p>

	Thanks,

<p>
	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I’ve just published the first version of a project which allows remote access to basically all the <em>Gauge API</em> functions available to a standalone WASM module. It consists of, yes, yet another, WASM module, but also includes full client-side implementation libraries for both C++ and C#/.NET. It is completely open source and licensed under L/GPL v3.
</p>

<p>
	(I hope this is a good place to post, since it’s not really an add-on for the general public but is geared specifically towards other programmers as a tool. And I hate promoting anything, but not sure how else other devs would find out about it.  I hope someone finds it useful.)
</p>

<p>
	<img alt="WASim-Logo_360x90" data-ratio="25.00" height="90" width="360" data-src="https://forums.flightsimulator.com/uploads/default/original/4X/f/b/e/fbe7f1b65b3b64be39016eaae99aadcc23d10b08.png" src="https://dev.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><br /><strong>A WASM module-based Server and a full Client API combination.</strong><br /><strong><a href="https://github.com/mpaperno/WASimCommander" rel="external nofollow">https://github.com/mpaperno/WASimCommander</a></strong>
</p>

<p>
	Please see the extensive README info on the front page of the repo. There is also example code, full reference documentation, and a full GUI for testing/experimenting.
</p>

<p>
	Support is provided via GitHub Issues and Discussions, <em>not</em> forums. I'm happy to answer any questions, etc, but I do not want to step on any forum rules or take advantage.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you for your time!<br />
	-Max<br /><br />
	About me... I've probably never posted here or maybe so long ago that I don't remember it. I'm definitely no stranger to this site, and greatly appreciate the resources here (thank you!). My first FS experience was on an Apple II, then later my lowly C64, and MSFS 1.0 on the best PC we could find on campus (late at night, naturally). I've been programming professionally for almost 30 years, and tinkering for over 40. In the last decade or so I've really come to appreciate open-source software, from both a user and creator perspective and try to support that model as much as I can. All my other open-source projects are hosted at GitHub as well.

	I was thinking about reading coordinates of current location of aircraft and putting it in a Google map/bing maps or other free maps

<p>

</p>

<p>
	sharing this location over the local network so it can be accessed by other devices.

	Is this possible before I look into it please?
