The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. After a little break I finally got to fly again today. I reinstalled Windows and FS last week on my new HDD and therefore this also was kind of a test flight if everything worked well. There were some technical difficulties (ATC cancelled my IFR flight plan after EVERY single handoff for no apparent reason. On a second short test flight a few minutes ago this was solved, hopefully for good) but all in all it was a nice flight. I also enjoyed my new textures which give my FS a fresh look. Still a lot of work to do though until everything is back to normal...Pictures are all unedited, since the color saturation is a lot better now with REX Overdrive. Repaint is my attempt o…

So, im sitting at home, sick with the flu and Pink eye (Yuck), since last Friday. Im bored to death and a little weak and queezy, so I havent been in front of my PC simming like I normally would. I got the craving to fly, and found an App called X-plane Remote, which connects the Iphone to Xplane 10 (works with 9 too) and allows the iphone to act like a yoke. Its pretty cool, I set the desktop display to full screen foward view and then get in bed ( other side of room) and the Iphone has all the guages on it as well as the controls for Flaps, gear, speed brakes etc.. Everything you need. I can tune radios and have a EFIS display all on the phone while im in bed flying. S…

There is a 2D panel available at surclaro. Thank you Andreas.Seeing as my computer can't handle FLIGHT, I have only 1GB after my FSX installation and Flight seems to be only a game, not a sim I'd rather keep using FSX Accel.

Finally! I've messed with it as much as I care to, and I think she's good enough to release.Posting her to the library as I type.Regards,Steve DraEdit..Never happy with leaving off little details, I took one more look at the plane on airliners, net and noticed I missed the red jetway alignment lines....and my red underbelly line was a bit too long. Both fixed before I uploaded. :(

  21. No new day without a flight report at the moment. This time we went north. 70N to be exact. Our destination was Deadhorse, AS and the temperature there was a pleasant -25.6F. Cold enough to let us land with contrails. Not too many pictures though today, the ice desert for the most part of the trip was not that exciting...Full report can be found here:Discovering Alaska Volume 4: ASA 55 – FAI to SSC
