The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

West, West..........West I do mean west, this pictorial has screen-shots from Neveda, California & Hawaii. The aircrafts used were the Orbx's Lancair IV-P and the Carenado Piper Arrow PA28RT201 with sceneries by MegaScenery X. Commentary is always appreciated.....Darryl

Found a couple more oldies to go along with the Happy 15th. These two include some scenery with mountains, and the other highlights the clouds of the day. I don't have anything older than that. I still have most of the previous iterations of FS going back to 98, I can't find FS95, I think I gave that to a friend once I had upgraded. I did save off several disks that contain both sceneries and airplanes...wonder if they would work on a Win 7 64 bit machine?BTW, the landing shot is Lima, RWY 15Enjoy the oldies...

...And it would have been done already of it wasn't for that tail texture I thought was safe since I was not painting on the bottom! :Silly:Looks like I have some alignment nightmares to deal with on the top as well. :(This one is also still waiting for me to figure out the bottom textures..but at least I have the vertical stab. looking good. :(Sorry for the delay guys...between 12 hour shifts at the hospital this week and actually flying around in FSX a bit (well...trying to learn to paint in FSX, trying to port my EMBs over to it because a few of you have requested it, best way to learn I feel)....not much time for painting these guys. (If there is one thing I hate abou…

My latest venture takes me from the Falkland Islands to Rapa Nui or Easter Island for a charter flight in Oceanic's N162342 - a 767-300, Extended Range series. I had been dreading this flight for the forecast winds where on average 280/60 no matter what FL we chose. This produced a GS of no more than 415 at any point in the flight. The only bright side to this was the fact that we weren't running the a route over the Tasman sea; where I have seen winds normally over 120 kts.FLIGHT INFORMATIONOperator: Privately registered (Oceanic Airlines): N162342 - United StatesAircraft: BOEING 767-300 (H/B763/Q)Origin: EGYP Mount Pleasant, Falkland Islands (Malvinas)Destination: SCIP …

East Coast "Gray" A new series featuring United's "Battleship Gray" which disappeared from the mainline fleet two weeks ago. I still prefer this paint over the new Continental insipired "New United" ugly and boring old style paint-sheme. Hopefully you enjoyed these screens-shots, C & C is always appreciated.....Darryl

Shalom and greetings all my pals,Here is world's most exclusive testing of freeware BUT payware quality Boeing 717-200 that the well known payware company JetCity is offering for free at amazing payware quality!!!!JetCity 717-200 passed my rigorous testing with flying colors. Handling was superb. Fuel consumption was realistic. Landing was smooth. Turns were realistic without being jerky that you would find in common freeware planes. Jetcity offers freeware 717-200 along with about 50 free airline textures. There was a paint kit for this model available in avsim but due to tragic hacking episode, the free paint kit for the plane was lost forever. However, many clever p…

Reading Tom's post inspired me to look back through my old things...I found a picture of an old FS98 plane, I'm pretty sure it was a Project Freeware bird, my how things have changed over the years! Fuselages and engines were 8 sided, gear and flaps were either up or down, there was no movement, you pressed the key and it magically went from full up to full down. There were limitations on colors too, only 256 of them, if my memory doesn't fail me. I'm sure someone here will correct me if my memory did fail, lol. At any rate, enjoy the pic. The developers may still be around, however, the group doesn't, and neither does the airline!

Today we're leaving Alaska and fly back to the Continental US. This flight can also be described as "taking the scenic route" with the beautiful Glacier Bay in Juneau and the Puget Sound and Olympia National Park in Seattle.Check out the full report in my blog: Back to the Lower 48: ASA 76 – JNU to SEA

Get ready for the last leg on our Alaska adventure. Today I flew from Anchorage to Juneau. This was a perfect way to end this tour, with a beautiful and challenging approach into Juneau's runway 8 that requires a diagonal approach due to dangerous terrain on short final. All pictures unedited straight out of my FS9 again. Here's a little selection of the pictures from the full report that can be found here: Discovering Alaska Volume 6: ASA 62 – ANC to JNU
