The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

It's been so long since I've flown the Discus over Snowdonia, I'd forgotten just how real the experience can be when combined with JF photoscenery and Cumulus X. This was taken after about 30 minutes of scratching around at 500' in ridge lift and finally hooking a thermal and taking her up to 6200' before zapping off downwind. Nice...

The problem with these SS are you can only upload to here with a image size of 400k, a lot of the sharpness is lost, so best not to look at full screen. Hope you enjoy! At the gate PHLI

Here you go Darryl.I didn't edit at all except re-size and JPEG filtering to get the shots in the filesize limit. The 1st 3 are reduced to right under 150k, so may have some artifacts. The next 2 are at 200k and the last one is just under 400K per to forum rules. For $19.97 (deal ends April 2), its no PMDG 737 (or soon to be 777 and 747!! :(), but its a great little plane, has a new avionics suite that's different from a Boeing or Airbus...so another type rating to put under your belt. :Big Grin:Regards,Steve Dra

Is all the money I spend on this product worth it? Is the $55 I spent tonight on scenery worth it? Did I make the right decision? Then I open up FSX and am presented with scenery like this and my answer is clear. fsx_2012_04_03_05_07_19_550 by styckxx, on Flickr fsx_2012_04_03_05_07_15_390 by styckxx, on Flickr fsx_2012_04_03_05_06_25_574 by styckxx, on Flickr

Just a few aerials of the shiny new X-Aviation DC-3 in X-Plane 10. This is a nice bird, and it manages to fly along convincingly despite X-Plane's sometimes quirky flight modeling.Al

Here is a little gem that I discovered, it's for the iFly 73, a Pan Am livery. I used it in my hop across the pond, it's my first leg from Canada to Greenland. Proved to be a nice day. For us old guys, that actually flew the real Pan American, it is indeed a treet to see the old livery. Must admit that I never flew the billboards...only the old cheat line...Enjoy the unedited, other than re-sized shots.First shot is Taxi out in CYYT, still shows snow on the ground, Canada aye!Next is feet dry, otherwise it was just the plane, sky and water...Clouds as we got inland.TODVectorsRollouton the rollout shot (wingview) can you see the stab shadow?

Love the new SVMI (Maiquetia, Venezuela) scenery by Latin VFR. They really captured the ambience of the surrounding area as well as the airport. Arriving from Aruba in one of my fave AC.Sorry I'm still getting used to Roxio pic editor. It is not translating the grabs as well as Adobe did. Roxio came with new comp, might have to change.LeeSVMI bound FL230ApproachCloserFinalsWaiting for GSX follow me

Straight Out...No Turn Needed. Normaly you need to make a 180 degree turn to head east from LAX but due to Santa Ana winds (strong/gusty winds from the northeast thru Cajon Pass, etc) we depart to the East today. Commentary is always appreciated.....Darryl

Last night was shopping around for a sport aircraft to fly around for VFR's and just good fun.. While a lot looked sleak and fancy, they also looked wimpy compared to what I had in my mind.. I wanted something just mean and fast looking while carrying some bulk still.So... Plan B.. Photoshop + C337... :(
