The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Here are some shots from a very short flight from PHNG to PHJR to practice an approach: this time the VOR/DME approach to PHJR's runway 4 (chart: http://155.178.201.1...4/00761VD4R.PDF). Click for the big pics! Bye bye, PHNG. Great views. Okay, which way to go? I want to intercept the 273 radial from the HNL VOR outbound... That way. Here I am outbound on the 273 radial, flying towards the OSOFE IAF, which is 22,4 nm from the HNL VOR. More great views. Oops, already passed the IAF. Turn left quick for a short arc (if you can call it an arc). Left again and there is PHJR already (I forgot to take screen…

  13. Something a little different. This is a new racing sim, which is currently in ALPHA stage, but is open to the public. I puchased the "Team Member" license, which allows anyone to download the latest build. Im not really a racing fan, but I have to admit, this game is incredibly fun! all kinds of different cars to drive and several tracks. I really like the 60's era cars. Graphics are insane and it runs extremly smooth. I have yet to win a race, In fact, I have yet to finish a race, but im getting close. Rob

Well, of COURSE you should try this at home, because it's really thrilling! The screenshots don't do the experience any justice, that's for sure. I took off from Lihue, Kauai, and flew over the water to Dillingham , Oahu, in the middle of the night with thunderstorms all around. It was a roller coaster ride, I can tell you! I only used VOR triangulation to find my destination (so no ingame map). In the middle of the flight, already quite some time above the sea, I suddenly wondered of Dillingham wasn't one of those little sloped runway's with no lighting which you can hardly find at day, let alone at night! It also took quite some time for one of the VORs to come alive...…

The whole area of southern Sweden (Skåne) is included in the scenery! Evening approach for runway 35! Hey guys, She's already in the library, waiting for you to upload her, fly her, and post pics here of her (Since I'm getting tired of the only one posting pics or her :LMAO: ) I have to warn you there is a model glitch that I tested to make sure it was the model, not my paint...shown below. The opening doors have a shine to them at late dusk/night that I can' fix....I notified Feelthere. It only happens on the FSX 195....not the 175. Also, the lights on the FSX models cant be controlled by the cockpit switches either...also sent to Feelthere. If anyone already knows of a fix, I'd love to hear from you! I'll be converting my other paints soon an…
