This is the most Northerly fixed settlement in Arctic Canada :- What you see here is a fantastic NWT Landscape (terrain mesh) free add-on, from the AVSIM File Library, and a similarly cool Airport add-on for the Grise Fiord airfield itself, again from the AVSIM File Library. Switzerland is one of my favorite flying areas. Lugano is -- if you've never landed there before -- quite challenging, because the ILS approach is very steep, with 6.65° degrees (normally you have 3°). Here are some screenshots of a landing I just did: X-Plane 10 (as always), Carenado Bonanza A36 (livery by myself), Aerosoft Lugano (X-Plane version), freeware ground photos, OSM buildings and Europe library

Here are some screens from my latest project. USS Essex is the centerpiece, but it is really a compilation of modern US Naval vessels. I'll upload the whole "fleet" soon, probably this weekend. Just a head's up, Essex isn't really flyable, especially at night, but if you can manage to get your aircraft into position at one frame-per-second, you can get some awesome screen shots - and besides, your system might be better than mine. A sunset looking west towards downtown Portland, Oregon. FSX Global textures with UTX. I made changes to the terrain.cfg file per several threads in the Unofficial Orbx forum. Thanks to all of the guys who posted these changes! This has changed my flight sim world at dawn and dusk.
