The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I really enjoyed these two airports (and of course the RealAir Beech). I'm not sure of the current image size rules so in order to save Tom some space, I've linked the images (2560 x 1600). I was primarily testing out 32X AA under DX10 and I was impressed, it's flyable even with heavy clouds (FSGRW) and UK2000 airports (but this was a nice please day in Scotland so not too many clouds). Include Airport Charts and taxi route. I don't know if that's preferred or not ... is it better Attach files, Media link, or URL link? 7. Hi all, this is my first long range flight with the new PMDG 777, after practicing the tutorial flight and a few short range training flights. I did choose a Paris Charles-de-Gaulle (LFPG) to Vancouver International (CYVR) direct flight with Air France. This is a fictitious flight, Air France network does not serve Vancouver (the sister compagny, KLM, do it with 777-200ER from Amsterdam however). Planning The flight has been planned with PFPX. Here is the overall flight path shown under PFPX. Flight path will overfly England, touch the south coast of Iceland, cross southern part of Greenland then enter Canada North of Hudson Bay before reaching P…

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.. A very creepy mist fell over the city at dusk on Hallows Eve. As the mist lifted a faint screaming whine could be heard in the clouds. We scanned the horizon for the source. Suddenly appeared the most ghastly looking aircraft we'd ever seen! Who would book a flight o…

Shalom and greetings all my pals, Long long long before British Airways' 38 all luxury seat A318s, EOS airline's luxurious 48 seat all-business class 757 configuration, L'Avion's 90 all luxury seats in a 2x2 configuration with laptop power at every seat, French food and wine, and seats that reclined by 140 degrees, and luxury seatings from Maxjet and Silverjet, Eastern airline offered all luxury all first class service called Eastern One Service using DC-9-14s. 19. Hello all I had to switch my aircraft for the freeware PC6 from Tim Conrad. This is my flight #4 on my way from Juneau to Anchorage. This leg was between Tanis Mesa and Young Creek, through Russel Fjord, Disenchantment Bay, Bagley Icefields, Thomson Ridge and Thana Glacier. This flight was wet, with dense and freezing cold rain 3/4 of the time. But a nice sunny spell at arrival made for a great, scenic approach to Young Creek. Young Creek (0AK5) is really a picturesque strip, on the side of Nizina River, and surrounded with Wrangell-St. Elias National Park moutains. The approach was not that easy : coming low from South, I had to perform a long rig…

Hi folks, I recently made a post called 'The Future of FSX' which basically contained some PSP edited FSX shots in order to see what the future of FSX (or other flight sims) might look like. I had some overflow of these overly edited shots and I thought I would share these spare edits with you folks as you may enjoy a shot or two in this batch. Here the remaining overly edits: Thanks for viewing.

Whether you call it CAVU or CAVOK it's the same, ceiling and visibility unlimited. Yesterday morning I had flown out of home base at KLWB Lewisburg WV bound for KMTN, Martin State Airport in Baltimore MD to start a corporate charter flight. 15 minutes after take off and I'm at FL 240 under incredibly clear and cloudless skies. What you can't see is the 45 kt tailwind pushing my ground speed to over 310 kts. Active Sky 2012 SP2, Flight1 King Air B200. Enjoy
