Remember when Carenado used to make good bread and butter GA aircraft, with fantastic frame rates, at low prices, and you never heard (many) complaints about systems?.... :smile: I still love flying the Carenado 182Q, so decided to treat it to this GTN750 upgrade. acquired the c182 during the vc day promotion, very nice aircraft. some of the vc colors seemed to be a little washed out (probably a fsx color palette limitation) so went about boosting the saturation and contrast on the vc textures. vc texture changes -Darker grey front panel, baked in subtle ambient occlusion -increased color saturation of the gauges (ex: see ADI) -slightly darker blacks (glare shield, yokes, lower panel, GNS430 bezel) -added COM/VLOC label on GNS430 -gauge openings are darker black -gauge glass reflection changed to purple hue to resemble anti-reflection coating here' the flight over puget sound using the original textures, with the t…

The drive into work this morning was highlighted by the closure of Culver Blvd and West Jefferson west of the marshes. LAPD were in the midst of a gun siege involving a car hijacking near the Spa Del Ray hair salon. So it was via Lincoln Blvd with its stop and go principle into LAX.
