After a few months off from flight sim, its time to get back into things. I have a great trip planned for the next few flights. Here is leg 1 of the Great Cherokee Adventure. (I used the A2A Cherokee, BlueSky photoscenery, ASN, and REX Essentials Plus. Sectionals courtesy of Skyvector) We start our flight in Montana at Laurel 6S8 just outside of Billings. Flight navigation is accomplished by hard IFR - I follow roads. Just in case we get lost, we have the Billings VOR. Before long, the nice farm land below turns to mountains. Somehow the road still goes here. Must be some drive. The sun begins to set as we come up on the airport.…

Hi there! For those of you, who already know FSIPanel, just have a look at some screenshots. ;-) I hope you like them! Everybody else, please read what I wrote below: I recently bought FSIPanel, a fantastic and highly recommandable software that lets you set up and practice approaches. The software sets up your plane (works with PMDG, MJC Q400, Aerosoft Airbus, iFly 737/747, A2A C172, etc.) on the appraoch (can be final, can be a vector to final or a Point on the STAR), and you can reload the situation again and again after touchdown, to effectively practice landings and approaches.
