The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This is the continuation of my "Flying Wild Alaska" thread. This time, I fly from Gustavus (PAGS) to Yakataga (PACY). A very dark cloud was hiding the sun ... Nice sky colours ... Flying right through the clouds is nicer than simply flying above them. I had to climb to 13,000 ft due to the high mountain. Barely visible below is the runway of Yakutat, where I landed for my 5th tour. Just leaving the clouds for the approach to Yakataga - the runway is close to the river mouth. Gusty winds made the final approach challenging - but that's part of the fun. Not a big spot ... we're in Ala…

  8. Shalom and greetings all my pals, Presenting recreation of Israeli air force's emergency KC-97 cargo resupply mission from an Israeli air force base to HE1F Fayid air force base in Egypt located approximately 23 km south of Ismailia and 69 miles northeast of Cairo during Yom Kippur war. Yes you are reading it correctly!!! It marked the first time in history of Israel that Israeli air force plane had landed on Egyptian air force base!!! How did it happen? Israeli army forces with tanks managed to smash through Egyptian defenses, crossed Suez Canal, and landed on Egypt pushing 30 miles deep inside Egypt which created one logistical problem which was replenishment of su…

  17. I'd like to take you with me on my descend towards Perpignan, France, during dusk of the longest day of the year. The flight departed from Brussels, Belgium and has a flight time of approx 1h15 minutes. Please click on the images to see them in full resolution. The setting sun in the nortwest from the copilot seat, just after we started our descend from FL350. If you look very closely, you can see the Pyrenees make their appearance at the horizon. The Pyrenees stretch all the way from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean and form a natural border between France and Spain. In front and below we observe the region Languedoc-Roussil…

  25. This was a very relaxed after-work flight from Mauritius to La Réunion, in the REP-enhanced Carenado CT210M. REP (Reality Expansion Pack) by SimCoders changes the aircraft's systems to work in a realistic way, and I'm really excited of it. If you don't take care, you'll experience a flooded engine, vapor locks, avionics failures, etc. Cylinders, tires, gear, and battery will suffer if you don't treat them properly. You have to use the correct type of oil and you need to change it regularly. The aircraft's state is saved between sessions, so you need to check everything before the next flight. Engine and flight performance now match the…
